bleeding + no sac at 5 weeks

went to A&E to check as I had light bleeding. tested positive in few urine tests and blood test is HCG 75. however, no sac found in ultrascan. i need to go back 48 hours later for another blood test to see if HCG rising. my bleeding became heavier next day, any chance it will be successful pregnancy or most likely will be miscarriage? mummies, please help ease my mind 🫶🏻

I'm going the same exact thing now. I saw your post is July 2025. I hope everything went well for you.

Frequent cramps

Week 28 and always getting cramps, mostly in my lower legs and sometimes lower arms. Is this normal?

Aiyoh yes this is very common in pregnancy especially in third trimester, don't worry too much! It's usually because of low magnesium or calcium levels, so try to drink more water, eat more banana and dairy foods, and maybe ask your gynae if you can take magnesium supplement because it really helped me a lot when I had the same problem. But if the cramps are very severe, one sided, or got swelling and redness then please go see your gynae faster faster because want to rule out things like DVT which can be dangerous during pregnancy!

Have any mummies out there tried cuppy up collagen while breastfeeding?

Will cuppy up collagen affect milk production?

Honestly I’d check with ur gynae or LC first before starting any collagen supplement while BF just to be safe. Most collagen supplements are generally considered ok during BF but every brand has different ingredients so cannot assume all are the same. The main thing to check is whether Cuppy Up has any added herbs or ingredients that could affect supply. Some herbs like parsley or sage can actually reduce milk supply so worth double checking the ingredient list first! 😊

Gestational Diabetes Patient Education Programme

Failed my glucose test recently and was ask to attend the Gestational diabetes programme . Is it compulsory to attend the programme?

It isn't legally mandatory or forced upon you, but the hospital strongly encourages it because it is where you actually get your glucose monitoring kit and learn how to track your daily readings properly. They also usually have a dietitian present to show you how to adjust your meals to manage your blood sugar safely without feeling restricted. It's highly recommended to go just for the practical tips and tools, as it makes managing the diagnosis much less stressful. Try not to worry too much—you've got this!

I am currently 4 months pp and havent had intimacy yet. Am currently breastfeeding still so the hormones are all over. I would like to resume intimacy w hubs but I am also lowkey scared of sex lol. Am afraid that it would hurt and the thoughts of it just scares me… can anyone pls advise how to get over this thought 🙃

Hahaha I think it depends on what's the damage down there. Like if you had any tearing etc. I had a normal vaginal birth, with a really small tear on the inside, one stitch. No episiotomy. My hubs kept trying to initiate intimacy at like 3-4 weeks PP and I had this fear of it hurting too, and i was right haha. It hurt really badly, like a sharp pain and i kicked him off. It continued to hurt even after my 6 week check, but I learned that the pain is because I was really dry down there. I didnt hurt as much if there was lube. we kept on trying and eventually it stopped hurting. I am 5 months PP now and am completely back to normal haha. You can always start off slow. Use lube if you have to and adjust accordingly :)

Anyone managed to get HL at 36th week? I'm seeing Dr.manisha from kkh and just wondering If it is possible to get an HL as I am preschool teacher and have to be on my feet for 8 hours plus and end up having ankle and feet swelling and finding it very difficult to walk.

I heard from a friend that it’s easy to get HL with Dr Manisha. Just try explaining the situation to her, she’ll understand!

Feeling the urge to get another cat

Idk why but as I'm reaching my due date, I have this sudden urge and desire to get another cat. I already have one senior cat and he's like my first child and my forever baby. Now I can't seem to stop thinking about getting a second cat, even though I know it's not a good idea. Is this just hormones? Has anyone else experienced this or is it just me? #pregnancy #pets
