Just saw that my husband has tinder on his phone. He said he downloaded it just to check out the design of the app as he is a graphic designer. Should I be worried?

You would know better than all of us..if you already feel something fishy going on then it could be possible that this is not work related. But if this is the only thing that has made you doubt him then I think you are overthinking. You need to have that much of trust and I don't think he is hiding it, if it is there in his phone and he knows you also use it then he is quite open about it. Also, I agree start having some discussions about each other's work, it's always good to know about new things.

I developed a hatred for my MIL ever since the birth of my son. Nothing good comes out from her mouth as Chinese believes that we should say the negative to kids so they will grow to be the opposite of the meaning. For example telling the baby he is so skinny, he has no hair, he is naughty etc just so that they will turn out the opposite. I am not a believer of such myths. Ever since then (during the confinement period), I started to avoid her and have not greeted her or talk to her since. It has been 3 years but each time I think about the episode, I just feel very angry and my heart boils. How can I get pass myself so that I can start talking to her again just like before?

Perhaps her thinking is more traditional and she genuinely does believe that children cannot be praised. I've had relatives who shush me when I tell them that my girl is an easy baby as they too believe that babies aren't supposed to listen to praises. -_- Honestly, I don't know the logic behind this, but if you can sense she has good intentions, you can try opening up to her.

My in-laws are coming to stay with me for a month and I am a little worried. I have my baby on a schedule - meals, baths, play, sleep. This allows me to work and have some quality time with my husband. However, my in-laws like my daughter to have a routine more aligned with theirs -- she should nap when they nap, then stay up late so that they can have more time with her. They are lovely people - but i really don't want her schedule to be upset. How can I speak with them about this?

I think you should be honest with them about what you think and that it is better for their grandchild to stick to an established routine. Maybe during a causal dinner, just chit chat with them and let them know the benefits of having a routine such as baby will be less cranky when she follows routine and have sufficient nap time. I believe your in laws will want their grandchild to be healthy and happy.

My wife is pregnant with our second child and we're going for a babymoon over Chinese New Year. Any mums here with 2 kids or more, please think back to your second pregnancy. What would you have wanted most from your husband during a vacation? Should I make sure she is rested and has a lot of alone time? Should I ensure she doesn't have to do anything but still can enjoy time with us? What would you have like most during that time? I'll definitely ask her what she wants but would be grateful for your tips and ideas. Thanks!
