Panic Attacks in Pregnancy 😔

Hi fellow mums, I’m currently in my 1st pregnancy and 1st tri at week 9 and experienced a panic attack (I’ve a history of panic attacks since my teens and currently experience these once or twice annually). This includes physical symptoms of cold sweat, dizziness and faintness, shortness of breath, and slight nausea (but no vomitting). Does this warrant an urgent visit to the gynae? Has anyone coped with panic attacks through pregnancy? Does it have adverse effects or impact on baby? Any input or insight will be helpful!

See your psychiatrist and tell him/her you're pregnant and experiencing what might be panic attacks. Dr will consider safe options for meds. Recommend to speak to maternal mental health trained therapists too. Let your gynae know as well as your next visit. Some panic symptoms might be confusing during pregnancy because they are quite similar to some preg symptoms.

24 Weeks Problem

Hi mummies, I'm at 24 weeks pregnant now experiencing with backaches and discomfort at pelvic area (maybe due to round ligament). Can't walk much can't seat much. Abit annoyed with it as my underwear (which even I buy xl (from M) seems to be really feel tight. My 2nd pregnancy. Just needed to vent my frustration?

Pre natal vitamins(21 Century brand)

I am a ftm and in week 27 now. May i know do you ftm's took your pre natal vitamin everyday as per instructrd by your gynae? I had this since my 2nd trim starts. From my experience this few days i feel much better when i did not take it or else after taking it i will feel nausea and uncomfortable. Any opnion or suggestion? Thank you!

i took what the gyne gave. if u dont feel vomittin etc during pregnancy n is eating well. i think it should be alright

Hello, could i get a few thoughts and recommendations on some confinement food caterers? I've seen quite a number but having a hard time choosing. The few i've seen good reviews on are Tian Wei, Nouriche and Thomson. Would appreciate some feedback!

34 weeks but everyone keep commenting I’ve a small bump.

My 34w and baby estimated weight 2.3kg. But everyone (literally more than 10 people) have told me my bump size is very small and can’t tell I’m 8 months. Gets me abit worried everytime I hear this esp when it comes from mummies themselves. Does any mummies have the same situation too?

different mummy, different bump size, not too worry with other people's comments. just make sure the baby is healthy and you are happy. enjoy every moment.

35weeks and having constant episode of light headedness and breathlessness. Is this normal?

Hi mamas, I’m constantly having light headedness (until I break out in cold sweat and nausea) and constantly cannot catch my breath. It comes and goes but it happens very frequently, does this happen to anyone else too?
