Typical MIL Behavior
When something bad happen to their grandchildren: "Because mother never teach properly" When something good happen to their grandchildren: "Because my son taught well!"
Then when your husband did smth bad blame it on ur MIL. Likewise if ur MIL did smth disrespectful, ask her if her parents didnt teach her how to respect people regardless of age?
Your MIL indirectly literally telling you that she taught her son well thus her son taught well. If my MIL said this I'll probably laugh right to her face. 😂 Oops

I agree.. My MIL also says things like this. I get so sick & tired of it, I'll just ignore her. Do not response to her
