Flying at week 28/3rd Trimester

Any mummies flew or plan to fly during week 28 or during their 3rd trimester? Anything for me to take note apart from the medical cert from gynae? Thanks in advance!

make sure you have a list of maternity hospitals at your destination JUST IN CASE.. i prepared a list too.

Baby carseat issues

My baby is about 9kg+ now and I'm currently using the Royal Kiddy with isofix and as we rotate to rear facing, her legs alr reached to the max of the car seat which resulting in bending of her knees at times. Does that means she's ready for forward facing now? She's turning 10 months old this month and height wise 50% percentile. So I wouldn't say she's tall but even with tilting of different angles, her legs will max out and touch the back seat. Or is this an issue with Royalkiddy car seat? Tia

Childhood Memories

Just a random question, is it normal to have childhood memories that goes all the way back to 2 years old or even younger? Ever since giving birth to my daughter, I've been having lots of flashbacks and even remember every details of each toy I used to have such as a musical mobile toy that I had when I was a baby that was given as my Full Month celebration gift. I remember it in the exact color and its movement of the toy. I even remember the clothes I used to have, hair clips, shoes, furnitures, and even my emotions and feelings when I was a child. This is so weird but fun at the same time as I discuss all the details with my mom and verify them one by one with her 😂

Strong memories never fade . But majority of people easily forget their childhood when they become adults.

8 month Sleep Regression

My baby is turning 8 months old in a few days and I suspect that she's having sleep regression right now on top of teething. She's been waking up every single night for at least 2-3 times while crying miserably. Whenever I put her back to her bed asleep, she'll wake up in the next 30mins - 1 hour. I've noticed that if I co-sleep with her instead, she can sleep till the morning (about 3 hours from the last awake time during midnight). She was in the middle of sleep training previously and everything was going well before everything went haywire and I'll probably need to restart the entire sleep training again. Is it advisable to just let her co-sleep with me during this sensitive period of hers so she can find some comfort from teething pain + sleep regression?

I too experienced sleep regression with my little one. I did not move her into my bed, and pulled thru the 2-3 week period. Glad I did, because 4 years later, she’s happily asleep in her own room, own bed at sharp 9 pm every night, no questions asked

Sleeping On Tummy At 20 Weeks Old

My girl will ocassionally flip to her stomach and sleep on her tummy. As I'm aware of SIDS, but she seems to sleep much better on her tummy and deeper in sleep which is great for her brain development. And if I flip her over, she'll wake up and fidget alot and not sleeping peacefully. Should I continue to let her sleep on her tummy if that's the case?

Have to check on her frequently

4 Months Old Super Cranky

Any mummies here experienced an extremely cranky baby when hits the 4th month milestone? Her milk schedule went haywire, from the usual 3.5 hours to 2 hours/3 hours resulting in drinking lesser each feed. Waking up earlier than usual cos of hunger (3am drank 130ml, 5.50am drank 70ml). I'm suspecting teething as she's eating her hands like mad and drool more. Will teething causes irregular feeding, clingy and hunger too? She seems sleepy too but keep fighting sleep ?

Might be teething different baby different phase of fussiness and many different pattern. Mine was milk intake drop but frequency level increases during teething. If your baby keep eating the finger might be one of rhe sign too

Starting On Solid?

My baby is already showing interest in food and tried using a puree spoon to feed her milk and she can eat with spoon comfortably and learnt quite quickly after the 1st attempt. Her head can lift up straight which we can carry her upright. She constantly wanted to be seated upright otherwise she will cry angrily (still kind of wobbly and unable to sit up without assistance). She's only 4 months now. Advisable to try feed a little cereal to test it out?

Hi! Was wondering which size did you get for you baby at around 16 weeks old for huggies platinum diapers. My girl currently is about 6.8-7kg and her sizing is between S & M size ?

My daughter was 5+ kg at that age, so she was on NB size 😅😅 For your girl, S to M sounds about right. Heh. The important thing is to get it snug so there’s no leak at the thigh region/back, but not too tight.
