Feeding aversion

Hi, my daughter is 3.5 months old and formula-fed. She has a feeding aversion and cries badly the moment she is placed in the feeding position. She has reflux, which has probably contributed to this situation. Also, due to our lack of knowledge earlier on, we tried to force feed as she was drinking so little :( Anyone has any suggestions? So far, we try small frequent feeds to address the reflux. We are trying to show her that feeding can be a positive experience too. Anyone been through this?

Mummies out there! My baby is currently 3m+ and last night he suddenly coughed. Any remedy to help??

at this age, the only meds that babies can take is paracetamol, and a nose drop if got runny nose. No med will be given for coughs coz coughing is a defense mechanism for babies, in case they choke, so taking cough meds at such a young age is very dangerous as it suppresses the cough reflex. U may try the following - sleeping in non air con room - if got air con, don't put too cold. 26 or 27 degrees, assuming your baby isn't swaddled , is sufficient - use humidifier if using air con - vicks has a vapour rub for babies. Vick baby balsam. can apply on the chest to sooth. Guardian has it. hope he recovers quickly.

How much milk/solids does 7 month old take?

it depends on individual.my baby is 7 months but she only drinks about 120ml x 6 feeds.But my other friends baby is drinking about 180ml to 210ml per feed already.

Feeling down and resentful towards husband.. going to work soon (part time). Need somewhere to rant

Husband earns a lot more but still expects me to contribute proportionately e.g I contribute 1k and he contributes 4k. We are still paying mortgage half half. I just feel resentful because I know people or friends where husband will just pay for everything.. but we have joint acc so we just use from there. Trying not to be calculative since we are saving for a house where he’ll paying more since he has more savings but just can’t help it… Also feeling more down everyday.. can post natal blues be so late? About 3 months plus already

On in off fever

Hi mummies please help me out for not over thingking my LO is currently having a high fever on and off until now,She having fever 5th days already now,i taking her to the hospital already on her 2nd day of fever,Kk hospital gave her 2 kinds of medicine which is ibuprofen and paracetamol,igave the ibuprofen when her temp. Is 38.5 degree C and above when the paracetamol is never respond to her fever within 2 hours.My question is why her fever stay so high and never ever been going down😪😪😪i feel so sad for my poor little girl🥹🥹😭I am a first time mum is someone go through like this before?i am so stress in a whole day.Somemore when my husband go to work me and my LO in a whole day.Idont have someone to help me,i followed all the medication and how to taking care of fever baby,but why until now my LO never get well🥹😭😭😭#adviceplease #firsttimemom #newmom Help me 😭😭😭😢😢😢

2 months LO suck bottle till flat teat ?

Personally i prefer second hand books especially when baby has outgrown putting said books into mouth. Last i went was bras basah those old bookstore with really good prices. Random steals for popular authors or just random books that might be suitable. I look out for board books and sometimes the soft books with slightly longer stories but no need to read word by word. Occasionally carousel has good deals but not reliable and leceh to travel and pick up 😕 I saw a Malaysian bookstore Book Xcess with very decent prices but not popular authors. Might consider because flat shipping rate of 15bucks but ive yet to order. I avoid shopee lazada, even some kids shops in sg because i noticed some are pirated books haha yes they exist sia and prices are same as kinokuniya like whut why? On top of that do some library runs so much cheaper in the long run. Likes once a month visit kind grab eight books and do extended learning if u have the capacity e.g. a food related kids book then do a simple cooking activity over the weekend for babys snack. Messy and tiring but child will gain some autonomy and trust working alongside u and reward of the final product. 🌝

Baby sucking finger

My Lo is 18 months old. She sucks her 2 fingers all the time. Because of that she is reluctant to walk or do any activity and even sometime if she stands with support, she uses only one hand as other hand is engaged in sucking the fingers. She is less active because of that. Is there any one who had same problem? How to stop this habit? #worriedmomhere #newmom #FTM #pacifierproblem
