Hi everyone, I just had my dating scan done. Base on my lmp, it was supposed to be 8d5w but fetus was measuring a week late. Is it ok? Any advise on what I should do to support fetal growth?

All day sickness

I’ve been vomitting since i hit week 6 (counted based on my lmp).. have yet to go my first gynae appt as it’s only scheduled in march. Does anyone have any remedies to help with the morning sickness? Weirdly enough my morning sickness disappears in the afternoon but gets worst in the evening and night :(

Hii, i have morning sickness in the evening and night too. I hate vomiting thus I have been controlling it lately. 😂 I use herbal inhaler when I feel dizzy/nauseous, on and off will depend on sweets and sour dried fruits. I made sure to eat on time and eat whatever I craved for (except those which are unsafe for pregnancy). But then again different people will experience differently, i think its important to listen to your body and see what works for you. May you feel better soon!

No pregnancy symptoms

Hi mummies, I am currently 7 weeks + pregnant and currently waiting for my 8 weeks first scan. It’s my second pregnancy; first pregnancy ended with a miscarriage. Up till now, I don’t feel any nausea at all. Not much pregnancy symptoms except mild cramps and tender breasts. I am quite worried as I don’t really feel pregnant at all. With my first pregnancy I have nausea and do definitely have more symptoms. I feel very normal and at times I feel my body is in quite good shape and spirits, don’t feel pregnant at all. Is this normal.. I hope all goes well for my first scan 🥹

Any snacks recommendation?

Hi mummies, I just hit 7 weeks today and like most people, very tired easily, but most weirdly, I get super hungry really fast, and right after a meal, I get bloated super quickly and that bloatness/indigestion feeling sticks around for quite a while! Anybody having the same experience? Can I get some recommendation on small bites and snacks to eat so I can do more frequent light meals throughout the day?#firsttimemom

Same here. Cant wait for first trimester to be over!

Hello mummies, what warm drinks are suitable to drink during pregnancy?

I am not sure what I can drink besides warm water and trying to drink less cold drinks 🥺

Highly anxious 2nd time pregnancy after first miscarriage

Hi all. Had my first pregnancy that ended with in a miscarriage last year July. Back story: had my first obs appt, did a scan and doctor said it’s small, but doctor didn’t say how many weeks. I assumed it was around 8-10weeks from LMP. Doctor didn’t say much except will see in 1 week but didn’t even make it to 1 week when I started heavy bleeding and had a miscarriage a couple days later. It was traumatic and so heart breaking as I wasn’t aware I was going through miscarriage. I felt so alone. Just found out I’m pregnant mid Jan with the second pregnancy. Had my first obs appt yesterday and doctor said foetus is very small likely is 5weeks. Now that made really anxious and stressed out as same words were said abt the first pregnancy but doctor again didn’t say much just said see in 3weeks. Got home and I just bawled until I slept. The fear got over my emotions. Events of the first time just played again. I’m really worried. My heart feels broken already. Just wondering what I could do at this point. I really pray this baby grows in the next 3weeks or it will be another heart wrenching event. 😢

NUH Subsidized vs NUH Private

Hi 👋🏻 I'm under subsidized at NUH looking to transfer as a private patient at NUH for checkup instead. Does anyone know how much per visit? And do we get an ultrasound pic of our baby on every visit for private?
