Since our kids will be born after 1st april 2026, anyone planning to fully utilise the shared parental leave and taking 6months at one go? Or is it better to keep some for child vaccinations/falling sick etc. thinking how much to keep will be a good amount?#PregnancyAdvise #sharedparentalleave

Freelance confinement nanny need to provide ID?

Hi mummies, for freelance confinement nannies, are they supposed to provide us with any form of ID after deposit is given? Mine refuses to give anything and so far, I only know her nickname and WhatsApp number. Is that a concern? TIA!

Nope. My freelance confinement didn’t give me any form of ID after I have made my deposit. I only got her name, WhatsApp number with display picture and all these confirmed details on our conversation. I think it’s more on trust for freelance.

Where to get chinese confinement ingredients from?

Where do you source ur own chinese confinement ingredients like red dates, herbal tea etc from? Any recommendations for good quality and affordable ingredients? #confinementfood

You can go to mommys market at expo on 10-12 April 2026! I got it from there. You can take a look at the samples and packages at a few booths. Can try your luck to negotiate too!

Bilateral notch

20 weeks here and just completed second trimester scan. Gynae report that i have bilateral notch and i’m on aspirin now. Anyone with similar experiences? Also, understand that this diagnosis will get me rejected if i apply for maternity insurance. Is it true?

I am on aspirin too.
