Low milk intake

Hello Mummies! My 3 month old baby is only drinking about 500-550 ml per day. We tried increasing his feed but max is about 580ml. He has normal wet diapers and is still gaining weight. Should I be worried about this?

Your baby sounds like he's doing fine if his diapers are wet and he's gaining weight, so I wouldn't worry too much. Every baby is different and some are just more efficient feeders or need less than others, so as long as he's meeting those milestones there's really no need to push more milk into him. That said, it might be good to bring him to your PD for a check-up just to be safe and get their reassurance, especially since you're concerned enough to ask.

KKH Private Gynae Dr Selina Chin

Hi all! I recently gave birth in Apr 26' and would like to recommend my KKH gynae. Genuinely, every appointment she was patient and really answers all your question. During labour, she is supportive and calm. I am really thankful for her and would really recommend her to any mummies who are pregnant. She may be young, but super patient and nice personality.

That's wonderful that you had such a positive experience with Dr Selina Chin. I think many mummies will appreciate hearing that she takes the time to really listen and explain things properly during appointments, because that can make such a difference when you're pregnant and worried about everything. The fact that she stayed calm during your labour is also huge because that definitely helps you feel more confident when things are actually happening. Congratulations on your baby, and thanks for sharing this recommendation.

Any mummy’s group chat for EDD May 2026?

Want to join group chat on EDD May 2026

I'm not sure if there's already an active group chat for May 2026 EDDs, but you could try posting on the antenatal section or searching existing groups to see if one's already running. If not, you could start one yourself and see if other mummies join you that way.

recommendation for gynae

hi! i’m 30 weeks & would like to go private in KKH after next appt (24 feb). Dr Suzanna is fully booked so is there any other gynae that is good? I would also like to ask for 1 month HL if possible as I’m working in a hospital lab (dealing with patient’s bloods and urines, also alot of walking & shift work). which gynae willing to give HL?

Hi, Moms! Can try Dr. Serena and Dr Ada? Both are in KKH

when is it nearing birth?

i’m 36 weeks, have been experiencing lightning crotch, pressure near vagina and pelvic pain. last time my gynae checked the baby’s head position, he had to scan around the pubic area. does that mean the baby will be out any time soon?

it should be around 38 weeks above normally… but depends on the condition you’re in. some baby likes to pop out sooner 😂 maybe can avoid eating food that can cause contraction (for example spicy food), and beware with hard activity

My baby movement also got slightly less, used to make me so anxious. Try to drink really cold water, have something sweet. As long as you feel something small. It’s all good
