when is it nearing birth?
i’m 36 weeks, have been experiencing lightning crotch, pressure near vagina and pelvic pain. last time my gynae checked the baby’s head position, he had to scan around the pubic area. does that mean the baby will be out any time soon?

Those signs sound like baby is dropping and getting into position, which is a good sign you're getting closer, but it's honestly hard to say exactly when without your gynae's assessment. Since you're at 36 weeks and experiencing quite a bit of pelvic pressure, it might be good to check in with your gynae again soon and let her know what you're feeling, just so she can confirm baby's position and give you a better sense of timing. Every pregnancy is different though some mums go into labour shortly after these symptoms start, while others carry on for a few more weeks, so try not to read too much into the timeline just yet.
Read moreit should be around 38 weeks above normally… but depends on the condition you’re in. some baby likes to pop out sooner 😂 maybe can avoid eating food that can cause contraction (for example spicy food), and beware with hard activity
