Baby wear from hospital

Hi mummies! What do you normally dress your baby when you are coming back from the hospital? Sleeveless or sleeved clothes?

KKH maternity gown

FTM here, can i know the KKH gown that hospital will ask us to wear during our stay is it long sleeve ? And the length till ankle ? As im wearing hijab, i would like to know if i need to bring somesort of long sleeve inner & pants/leggings to cover myself. #firsttimemom

How does implantation feels like?

Has anyone experience light brown discharge with cramps a few days before your period due and found out that you are pregnant after? I didny experience and nausea feeling. Just bloated, minimal light brown discharge and cramps. How many days did you experience the cramp and implantation discharge?

when i was pregnant vs when i had menses, both times i had cramps and brown discharge. so it’s very hard to say.

Hi ladies, ftm here. If we come to the delivery suite, due to labour signs, will we be placed in labour room straight away until we deliver or we will be placed in temporary ward then to labour room ? For labour room will be us alone ? Husband can accompany ?

straight away until deliver. labour room is private and husband can be there.

Rant. My sister has 3 kids and refuses to have any helper so my elderly parents have to keep helping

My parents are v accommodating to my older sister so they don’t say no to her and I feel like she’s taking advantage of that. She and her husband can definitely afford a helper but she’s v particular so she refuses to have 1. My parents have to even drive to their place about 30 min drive each time they go and help out! For a few years now. Any advice? Tried to talk to her about it but she brushes me off… maybe cos she’s many years older than me. & she’s extremely stubborn. Don’t think she cares… Now I think my parents won’t help out for my baby :(

Is it normal to not feel pregnant at ur first trimester ? So far , ive nvr had morning sickness (yet , i hope) and other symptoms .. =\ .. Im getting anxious actlly .. But tryna think positive and eat healthy ..

Vagina feels like pulsing

Im in my second trimester (week 23) and while i am working i feel my vagina is pulsing a few times. I goggled and cant find any info. Any mums experienced this? #firsttimemom #FTM #pleasehelp #firstbaby #firsttiimemom

perhaps just fetus positioning near there? it’s only short while right?

Can share experience delivering with NUH subsidised?

Hi, it will be my first time delivering at NUH as subsidised patient. Will try to go for natural birth. Any recent experience on the staff/doc, what to expect or what to watch out for etc? Thank you.

Give birth my first born at NUH 2018, so far so good for me. During induce, in labour and after birth. Staff are friendly, helpful. I was on subsidy, go through it with jab, gas and epidural because of the dilation and I was in labour pretty long too. I had "practice" before even using epidural, I told them my concern and they are good to make you calm and will try distract you away from if you are afraid of needle, etc. I will voice out if it is painful, is it gonna hurt, etc. After birth, they help you when you need to go toilet, bath. If there's vaginal stitches do ask for ice pack and request doctor to check your vaginal. Also do request epsom salt, this is if you have vaginal stitches. At night, baby sleep with you, any trouble you may let the nurses know and they will also teach you to BF if you don't know. They have class for BF and bathing newborns if I correctly remember. After discharge they will ask about CM before discharge, medication, follow up, baby jaundice check up, you intend to BM/FM, then lastly goodie bag given. Not too sure if there's any changes etc so you may check upon admission in labour. Also before discharge do enquire about bill settlement.
