Keeping the baby

Mummies out there! Just curious, have anyone of u ever abort baby before? Im feeling very dilemma as I dont think im ready to have a 3rd child.. :( but at the same time, I do feel guilt for not wanting when it's a blessing..

I’m not in that space where I ever had the chance to even contemplate this. My husband and I struggled to have children. So to know that, there are mums out there having a total different struggle, to be honest, it’s heartbreaking. Don’t mean to make you feel bad, but having kids truly is a blessing. We’re now expecting our first baby after two rounds of IVF and three transfers. It took us almost 3years to finally get to where we are right now. So please, don’t give up on this baby. It’s truly heartbreaking to see this. For the goodness of this world and humanity. Please keep this baby.

Anyone in Singapore dealing with Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease?

My husband was recently told he has fatty liver, even though he doesn’t drink much alcohol. We’re now trying to understand what lifestyle changes and follow-ups are needed. What helped your partner after being diagnosed with NAFLD?

My husband was diagnosed with NAFLD too, so we started by making gradual changes to his diet and daily routine. He cut back on sugary drinks and processed foods, became more active, and worked on maintaining a healthier weight. We also consulted Dr Kieron Lim for follow-up, as we were looking for one of the Best fatty liver doctors in Singapore. Regular monitoring helped us keep track of his liver health, and it was positive to know there were steps he could take to support his liver.

Heel pain from being on my feet all day?

I thought my sore heels were just because I'm tired, but the pain has been going on for a while now. It's worse in the morning and after a long day of walking. What did you mums do when you experienced something similar?

Heel pain that's worse in the morning is often plantar fasciitis, especially if you're on your feet a lot during the day. I had something similar and found that stretching my calves first thing when I wake up, wearing supportive shoes, and taking breaks to rest really helped, but it took a few weeks to improve. Might be good to bring it up with your doctor or polyclinic just to make sure, especially if it's affecting your daily routine or getting worse.

Is subchondroplasty suitable for knee pain from a bone marrow lesion?

I've been having knee pain for quite some time, and my MRI showed a bone marrow lesion. My doctor mentioned something called subchondroplasty, but I don't know much about it. Has anyone had this procedure before, and what was the recovery like?

I think it can be suitable for some people, depending on the MRI findings and the cause of the knee pain. I had swelling, a deep aching pain, and discomfort when putting weight on my knee, especially when walking and going up stairs. My MRI showed a bone marrow lesion, and Dr Cheng Chusheng performed subchondroplasty after assessing my knee. Recovery was gradual, but I slowly became more comfortable with daily activities. He has been our go-to ortho doctor for knee problems, and I would definitely consider him if you are looking for an orthoapedic surgeon in Singapore.😊

Hi mommies. My stomach is quite big and I can't see my vagina to shave. I did shaved it a mnth ago but it grew out and now i'm close to my EDD and i'm not sure if I should shave it completely or let it grow. Any advice on this?

You may want to try waxing? There are some who are trained to do for preggy moms
