curious about my foot

Has anyone had plantar fasciitis from standing and wearing heels at work?

Yes, I went through this too. I’ve been wearing heels for work for years, and the heel pain started becoming noticeable towards the end of last year. I consulted Dr Kevin Koo, a Foot Specialist in Singapore, and shockwave therapy was one of the treatment options discussed. It’s been much better since. If your pain continues, I’d suggest getting it checked early.

ear infection...

Parents, did your child experience repeated otitis media?

We ended up consulting an ENT specialist after the fourth round of antibiotics, and getting tubes placed was a total game-changer for us. https://www.sunpass.com.co

I'm a bit worry

My daughter injured her foot during dance practice and now finds it painful to walk. How do you know if it's just a minor injury or something more serious?

I really feel you on this, especially when they're in pain and you're not sure what's going on. Honestly, this one better not wait, please take her to see a doctor or A&E so they can check if there's anything fractured or more serious. They'll be able to examine her properly and give you peace of mind, and your daughter will feel better knowing what's actually going on. Wishing her a speedy recovery, mum.

Any Idea Please

What treatment is usually given for ear infections in Singapore?

My son had an ear infection last year and the PD gave him antibiotics after checking his ear with that little torch thing, so definitely bring your child to see the doctor as soon as you can because they need to confirm it's actually an infection first. A few of my mum friends also mentioned their kids got ear drops prescribed, but it really depends on what the doctor finds when they examine, so best not to wait and just book that appointment at the polyclinic or your regular PD.
