My newborn is drinking formula milk every 1-1.5hr. Should I be worried?

Hi mummies. My 3 week old baby keeps wanting milk every 1-1.5hr. Initially he drinks 60ml every 2-3hrs but we realised that he keeps wanting more milk every 1-1.5hr. So we decided to up his intake to 75ml. Even with the increase in formula milk, he still wants milk every 1.5hr. He still poops normally, no diarrhoea or vomiting. I am doing mix feeding, breast milk and formula. FYI, I’m using Dupro. Should I be worried? #firsttimemom #worried

autism in baby

Recently, I've started noticing some autism-like symptoms in my baby, and it's made me question if my actions might be contributing to this. I often let my baby have a lot of screen time because it keeps them occupied and gives me some time to myself. I thought it was harmless, but now I'm worried it might be affecting my baby's development. I also rarely talk to my baby, thinking they won't understand and that it's a waste of time. I now realize that this might have been a mistake, as I've read that talking to children is crucial for their language and social development. And also, whenever something goes wrong, my immediate reaction is to yell at my baby. I know it's not the best approach, but in the heat of the moment, it feels like the only way to handle things. Oh, if this may add, I've decided not to send my baby to any early childhood programs or baby schools because I thought it was a waste of money. Now, I'm questioning if this decision is affecting my baby's social skills and overall development. Seeing other kids their age developing differently has made me anxious and regretful. I can't help but wonder if my choices are the reason for my baby's autism-like symptoms. I'm feeling a lot of guilt and fear that I've made irreversible mistakes. I'm reaching out to this community for support and advice. Have any of you faced similar concerns? What steps did you take to address them? How did you help your child if they were showing signs of developmental delays? I want to do everything I can to support my baby's growth and development from now on.

15 months of throwing tantrums during mealtimes

Hi Mummies, My boy is 15 months old and from past 2 weeks he has started showing a lot of tantrums during meal times. The tantrums include throwing food, throwing spoon, glass plate etc. he will not eat until we distract him like give him something to play with so that he is distracted and then we feed him. Is this normal ? Meal times are getting very exhausting and stressful because of this and I am worried. Any advise please ? #advice #firsttimemom

I'm really sad. I don't know why I always feel so inferior to my own family. My mother is a very dominant person... even after I got married and had children. I'm a stepchild, you know, mom. So I already have a child. Since my child could talk, whenever my mother meets my child, she always says, "Just call her auntie. Auntie. Auuuuntie." I once asked her seriously about this... and she said, "Oh, come on, mom's just kidding." I feel really hurt being treated like this by my own family, mom.

why co sleeping needs to be avoided

I've always cherished the time I spent co-sleeping with my baby. It felt natural and comforting to have my little one close to me throughout the night. We had established a routine, and it seemed to be working well for us. However, I now realize the potential dangers involved. One night, after a particularly exhausting day, I fell into a deep sleep with my baby beside me as usual. At some point during the night, I unknowingly rolled over and ended up partially covering my baby. I woke up to find my baby struggling to breathe and in distress. It was the most terrifying moment of my life. I quickly moved and thankfully, my baby was okay after a few minutes, but those moments of fear and guilt will stay with me forever. I was devastated by the realization of what could have happened. I’ve always thought I was being careful, but this incident showed me how unpredictable and dangerous co-sleeping can be. I regret not understanding the full extent of the risks sooner. Since that night, I’ve made the decision to stop co-sleeping. My baby's safety is my top priority, and I couldn’t bear the thought of something like this happening again. I’ve set up a safe sleep environment for my baby in their own crib, ensuring they are close enough for me to check on but with a clear boundary for safety.

Drinking very less milk

My lo (6m 21d) is drinking very less milk suddenly. She use to drink about 100-120ml per feed but only drinking 50-70 per feed now even after 6hrs in the morning. Is it because of teething? Is it just a phase? She is already on the small side and very active. Currently on full formula after rejecting bm

Nappy rash

Hi parents. Any parents facing this problem where their baby has started IFC and developed severe looking nappy rash? I am really worried about this. All these while I’ve been taking care of my baby before going to IFC, nothing had happened like this before.
