My precious little boy's age

My precious little baby boy is born on his 33weeks of age. Since he is premature, how do I determine his age or when/where do I start counting his age? Nurse mentioned to me that premature baby's age currently is in term basis and that his age is still unidentify. Anyone can enlighten me? #advicepls

Age counts starting from birth date.. coz birth cert will also be stated by born date...my nephew is also premature... the day the baby is born, that's where we start counting the age...

Need some advice on newborn baby bottles. What brand works for newborns? Thank you in advance!

My two kids are using pigeon PPSU. Other bottles like Medela Calma and Philips Avent were rejected 😅

KKH private gynae recommendation

Hi mummies! I'm interested to go on private route at KKH and did some research, found these few gynaes: Dr Sim Wen Shan, Dr Serene Thain and Dr Qi Maili. If you had them as your gynae, could you share your experience and if they gave you HL before delivery? Appreciate it!

Yes I was with Dr Qi Mai Li this year and she is awesome and gave HL before delivery

is my baby stool color normal?

For the past 2 days, my baby's stool color hasn't been normal... Several times it was pale (kind of gray/white)... Then this morning it had a hint of blood/red color. But my in-laws assured me that it's normal. Maybe they ate something red. I'm not sure, but I feel uncomfortable going against my in-laws' words. Has anyone experienced the same thing here?

Instances in which pacifier is helpful for newborns

Hi Mummies, My baby boy is 8 weeks old and I am yet to introduce pacifier. May I please check what are the instances where use of pacifier is done ? Can mummies please share their examples ? Can my 6 yo drink low fat milk everyday?

Is low fat milk or full cream milk better for my 6 yo kid? I'm currently giving my 8 yo low fat milk as he is overweight. That's why I bought the same brand and types easier as they can share the same 1 litre.

From what I know, both can be okay depending on your child’s growth and diet 😊 My PD told me if the child is growing well and eating balanced meals, low fat milk is generally fine after age 2. But if your kid is picky eater or needs more calories, sometimes full cream may be better. Maybe can check with your PD too since every child’s needs are different 💕

Send/fetch baby from infant care alone with work bag

Hi working mummies that send their baby to infant care, if you’re sending or fetching them alone and taking public transport and not using strollers, what kind of bag do you use for you work? As you need to carry baby in carrier or by hand, carry his diaper bag and also your own work bag. My maternity leave is ending soon and im still figuring out how to go about this. I wont be using stroller as it’s a hassle especially when im alone and need to rush.

you can use backpack or get a diaper bag which can also put your work stuff. (huge tote?)
