Flathead 4 months old

My LO is 4 months old now and has a flathead. What should I do?

My son had a bit of flat spotting at that age too, and honestly the main thing is to vary his head position during the day and tummy time really helps. Since he's still young at 4 months, there's usually good potential for it to round out on its own as he gets stronger and starts moving around more. That said, might be worth bringing it up at your next PD visit just to check if anything needs monitoring, especially if it's quite pronounced or if one side is significantly flatter than the other.

Hi there , I'm curious with my two month + 22 days old baby . Always very grumpy, cry. Not easy to coax him after crying . He will make noise when feeding. He sleep most of the time . Is it normal? Btw he is born premature under emergency czer at 32 weeks gestation. #askmommies

Hi mum, I'd say it's worth bringing him to see the PD soon just to check everything is okay, especially since he was born early at 32 weeks. Premature babies can take a bit longer to settle and communicate, but the grumpiness combined with the noise during feeding and all that sleeping could mean he's uncomfortable with something like reflux or tongue tie, which are pretty common and fixable once you know. In the meantime, try keeping him close, gentle shushing, and checking if his nappy and temperature are all good, but honestly a proper check-up will give you real peace of mind and answers rather than guessing.

Private delivery price at NUH

Hi! Anyone gave birth at NUH via private route recently? How much is the estimated cost if willing to share? Thank you!

You can check with the hospital, they will share the current rates, and are quite transparent about it

SGH Pro VBAC/Natural Birth Gynaes

Hi! Are there any recommendations for a gynae at SGH who is supportive of VBACs/natural births?

Try Dr Citra or Dr Su Lin Lin from NUH? Dr Paul Tseng also well known

Is pamper me jamu good and safer choice compared to personal jamu contact through recommendation

Pamper Me is pretty reputable! WSQ certified therapists, good reviews, and easy to switch therapist if you don’t click. Personal jamu contacts can be just as good (sometimes even better) if you get a solid rec, and usually cheaper too. Main downside is no backup if they cancel. So really depends on whether you prefer structure or personal touch!
