At what point should I stop exercising during pregnancy?

There is no actual guide as to when is the right time to stop exercising. Modify the intensity of the exercises to a level that is manageable for your body. If you have been exercising, listen to your body and keep a lookout for signs telling you to stop, if you experienced any of the follow: - chest, leg, joint or stomach pain - dizziness or feeling faint - shortness of breath - vaginal bleeding or loss of fluid from your vagina - difficulty with walking - contractions Another thing to note would be to avoid exercises that involve lying flat on your back or those that require you ro be standing in one place for too long (these can reduce blood flow to your baby) after 16 weeks into your pregnancy. You know your body best, know when to stop and rest when needed. :) For more information on exercising during pregnancy: http://sg.theasianparent.com/exercise-during-pregnancy-the-why-what-when/ And here’s an article on what are some exercises to avoid: http://sg.theasianparent.com/why-you-should-exercise-during-your-pregnancy/
Read moreIf you were exercising before you got pregnant, it is safe to continue at a comfortable pace. There are women who have exercised all the way until their EDD and even taken part in marathons while pregnant. However, if you have pregnancy complications such as bleeding, threatened miscarriage, weak cervix, low placenta or if you have a medical problem such as asthma, heart conditions or diabetes, it is not advisable to over exert yourself. Swimming, brisk walking, prenatal yoga and low impact aerobics are exercises you can consider. http://www.webmd.com/baby/guide/exercise-during-pregnancy

Read moreI was told to stop exercising as soon as I found out I was pregnant. With high risk pregnancies, you’ve got to stop doing intense workouts throughout the whole pregnancy, unfortunately. But like other mummies have pointed out, there are good exercises you can do if your doc clears you for it.
You know your body best. You can still continue to exercise throughout your pregnancy as long as you feel comfortable with it.
thanks
