Anyone knows what is the ceremony for house moving? What are the things to prepare?
I am a SAHM with two young kids with not much of savings. I want to file a divorce with my husband due to his indifferent in our family and kids. Can anyone please advise me where can I get a good and reasonable lawyer? I want to end everything at the soonest as I can no longer accept his bad attitude on the kids or myself.
Not parenting related. Need advice. My 56yo dad who has not been working for a year due to heart condition and surgery went to an ATM machine to withdraw money today. However, the sun was shining too brightly against the screen and he could not see the screen with his poor vision with the new recent format. He pressed cancel button several times, took his card and walk away. About 5mins later, he checked his handphone and received an SMS from the bank stating that he withdrew $1000. He hurriedly return to the ATM but the money was no longer at the machine. He is at a lost now. Can he make a police report? Will the police even do anything such as check the CCTV footage and track the person who took the money so he can contact the person? Is it possible an honest person took it and return it to a police station s lost item? I know that 99.9% he has no chance of getting the money back, but appreciate advice whether police can accept if he goes down to make a report.
I'm practically had a 2.5 month worth of confinement. After the first month, my mil said that she would look after my lo so that I can go for lunch. However, she imposed a restriction for me to be back by noon as she needs to die die leave home at noon for lunch. On days when my hubby is not working, he could still fetch me to somewhere further for lunch. She is also unwilling to look after my lo for more than 1.5 hours. As there is no eatery near my house, I would like to take a bus to the nearest coffee shop to eat, or call for delivery. For info, it takes me 30mins to reach the interchange and that means I have only 30mins to eat and run errands and another 30mins to travel back home. Delivery is an expensive option due to the min. Order amount required, plus sometimes they don't deliver to my place (staying near the farms and away from civilization, so not many eateries offer delivery too) Cooking is not an option because theres no ingredient at all for me to cook, and if I were to stay at home during my supposed lunchtime, she would not want to look after my lo. I don't mind cooking at home if I could babywear her, but she told me baby is too young to be in carrier, and if in stroller, very dangerous also cos she will be unattended when I cook. Asking her to buy lunch back for not is not viable as she will leave home at noon but be back at 5pm only. She also disallowed me to bring my lo out as she does not want my lo to be exposed to unnecessary germs, can only bring my lo out when she is 6 months old. She came out with a problem, I proposed a solution to her yet she rejected and asked me to think of other solutions. Today, she asked me to go out for lunch earlier on weekends as she wants to eat lunch with my brother in law, and my brother in law hopes to go out for lunch at 11.30am so as to maximize his weekends. Appreciate any solutions out there for consideration. I need to regain my sanity, haven't been out to the malls since my delivery. Don't know what to do when I return back to work. So much for asking me not to worry after I deliver as its ether grandparents responsibility to look after their grandchild, on the other hand unwilling to change her lifestyle at all. ??????
7 years ago, when my eldest niece was born, my mil did not allow anyone in the family to make any noise at home whenever the baby is asleep. We need to mute the tv volume (literally!) and sneeze outside the house. Whoever make a single sound gets dagger stares by my mil. During her growing up period, she was spoilt by my mil and her parents, resulting in her screaming and yelling at home, regardless if she is excited from a game or wasn't able to get what she wanted. Fast forward to today, when my girl was brought home on her 2nd day, my mil vacuumed the room when my girl is asleep and spoke loudly in front of my girl when she is sleeping. She also did drilling and knocking in the day. My niece yelled and scream outside my room and within the house (imagine shouting from the first floor for someone on the 3rd floor). Both my husband and i had feedback to my mil to get my niece and herself to reduce their noise level as my girl is sleeping. Instead of agreeing to it, she commented that my girl needs to get used to it!! I was appalled. I thought she should set a good example to explain to my niece on the need to use indoor voice when she is at home, and not to yell and scream as and when she feels like it. My mil says my niece has already gotten used to it for 7 years, so very difficult to change her. Since my girl is young, I should train her from young instead. What has the world become? Sigh.
Is it normal to feel heavy sex drive? Like my LO is 8mths old. Why am i feeling so intimated? Any mummy feeling dat way? What's yr husband reaction?
Do u and your other half go to bed at the same time every day? Any consequences if both parties sleep at different times or do not have their bedtime chat then?
Hi, I am 7 to 8 months pregnant. Just need to rant out how I feel... I start to worry about labour pain as I decided to opt for normal delivery as I heard a lot of side effect on epidural, but I don't know if I can even handle the labour pain (I have low tolerance for pain) I also worry that how my in laws will be involving in my life. I kind of hate it when my FIL and SIL only asked about baby and how they going to pamper him when he is out. But the whole pregnancy I was taken care by my own family and my in laws they did nothing at all.. I feel really sad when they only care about the baby that's why I worry after I give birth I have no control over my own baby. My SIL, she is single and like to involve herself in my husband life. She tell my husband to ask me to endure the normal delivery without using anything anesthetic or else he have to pay more money. She is more worry about her brother spend on my labour. I just get so irritated by my In laws. I did not tell my husband because I don't want him having a hard time between his family and me. So I get myself feeling so lost, worry and sad. Sorry for the long post. I just need to rant it out.
Ever since my lo is born, my hubby changed. He is so over protective over our lo and it is now straining the relationship between my family and him. He becomes very rude to my mum who takes care of our baby. He forbid her from bringing her anywhere and throws the gifts she got for her away. But when he is with his mum everything he allow. Problem is his mum doesn't want to take care. I told him he shld not be rude to my mum but he says I'm siding my mum. What should I do? I'm at the verge of breaking down. My family wants me to divorce him as he is turning violent.
My girl (5mo) seems to prefer her dad more now, always looking at him and smiling when both of us are around. She only looks at me dearly and smiles at me when im alone with her. I perfectly gets it coz daddy feeds her alot and plays with her quite a fair bit. Im glad she has the love from so many people and i really love the bond daddy has with his daughter. But what sucks is when the inlaw commented that the reason why she always look at him is becoz he is the “最亲" or "closest" person. It hurts. Esp to a first time mum who gave her all to her baby, her nutrients and full time effort at exclusive pumping and there are so much anxieties. I hope people can be more sensitive to us mothers. We dont need recognition or credit or the love back from our kid. Just no passing remarks pls.
