Antenatal Class

May I ask how do you all choose which antenatal class to go for? For eg, there are courses provided by hosp vs confinement agency vs Hegen - would you all say their teaching content are more or less similar and just go with the one that fits our budget the most? Any other deciding factors? Thanks In advance!

I picked the one that doesn’t burn a hole in my pocket as I know that I will have my mom with me when the baby comes. I just want to learn the basics of handling a newborn.

Hi mummies! Is it safe to travel on 20th weeks and any advise/things to note on?

It is safe. Best for you to get your obgyn to clear you for this (a letter will be given out to you) and letter should be given to the airlines if they ask for prove that you are healthy to fly :) Safe Travels!

Duphaston doesn’t stop bleeding

Hello! I’m about 6-ish weeks now, and due to bleeding I was prescribed Duphaston. Twice a day initially but brown bleeding did not stop, and doc increased Duphaston to thrice a day. There is still spotting and brown blood / tissue like stuff when I wipe. Anyone with similar experience with taking Duphaston but doesn’t stop bleeding? And I don’t feel any side effects at all, no nausea, nothing. Is that normal?

Walking and standing can cause bleeding and spotting. Take the med by gynae and reduce walking. Bed rest most effective

Stomach wind -toddler

My child caught a stomach bug since last week. Has seen the doctor twice, stomach has a lot of gas that’s why bloated. He Started to feel better and can take food today in small amounts, but at night still vomit after taking some strawberries. Any advice to help get rid of the stomach wind
