I had a minor surgery, remove an infection abscess around abdomen area on skin, as it's quite painful, the Doctor prescribed Panadol and kept saying is safe for pregnancy. I took one as I could not bear the pain but I'm very worried of my baby in womb. Is it harmful to pregnancy?

I myself am taking panadol for my recurring headaches from time to time. Gynae was the one who prescribe it to me anyway. As long as it's the regular panadol, nothing to worry about, as long as you don't exceed the maximum dosage.

Although my doctor has specified, but can I continue to wear kitten heels during my third trimester?

Hi, in the third trimester when your belly is at its biggest, safety comes into play, too. At this point, your centre of gravity will be so off kilter that you may find it increasingly difficult to balance in high heels. Wearing heels (even the kitten one) is not a good choice as during pregnancy with increased weight, your gait also changes and heels may prove to be horror. All in all, the best thing is to think of the health hazards involved and shun the idea of wearing heels during the most beautiful and memorable phase of your life.

I need some advice. I am currently unemployed and my husband is the only one working. I found out that I'm pregnant. This will be our first child so I am kind of financially worried as we do not know what to expect. Is monthly checkup and delivery really that expensive? Anybody can advise the approximate cost? Thanks.

Depends where you choose to deliver and if it's natural or c section. SGH is the cheapest for natural delivery
