Is it safe to do acupuncture while pregnant in first trimester?

I have been going for acupuncture for past 5 weeks, not knowing I was pregnant. Now that I know, I’m wondering if it’s safe for me to continue acupuncture. I was doing acupuncture to treat my carpal tunnel. But my carpal tunnel has improved tremendously so I don’t mind stopping. Just need to know the safety around doing acupuncture when pregnant in first trimester.

Hi. Acupuncture is considered generally safe during pregnancy when conducted by an experienced licensed practitioner. But tell the practitioner that you are pregnant. As a general rule, tell him/her if you experience discomfort. The use of single use needles is essential, so check that!

Morning Sickness

I’m in my second trimester and noticed that I have been throwing up in the evenings lately. Is it common? I thought morning sickness happens only in mornings.

My morning sickness only happens when im about to go to sleep. So its pretty normal to happen at anytime

Is keep feeling nauseous, giddy consider as morning sickness? For those mummies that don’t digest well during pregnancy, how will you sooth yourself from the situation? Ate in afternoon but keep feeling like bloated want to vomit out to feel better.

Try to take smaller meals & keep resting.

What to do next? Positive home pregnancy test

Hi just took a pregnancy test and it’s positive. What do I need to do? Called the gynae but the receptionist says only to see gynae on the 12th March. Do I need to see a doctor to check and make sure everything is ok?

First Pregnancy in 40s

I'm 29 and have been dating a girl in her 40s (she looks younger than her age). We are getting more serious...and thinking of marriage. However, I am worried if I ever get married with her: 1) the chances of her getting pregnant, 2) the number of children we can get since I love kids. She acknowledged she's not getting any younger and she is not sure if she can give birth. There's lots of complications and she's a foreigner... Has anyone know someone who had their first pregnancy in their 40s?

if walking caused miscarriage in early pregnancy , everyday walked 1.5km non stop .but in slow pace.
