Experienced brown discharge at 7 weeks and rushed to the ED. Doctor said I had a threatened miscarriage but thankfully the foetus is still doing fine. Doctor recommended more bed rest and limited activities. I’m quite an active person prior to this.!I can walk for hours and prefer climbing stairs etc. But my mom found out and was absolutely adamant I do no such thing. The only time I was allowed to walk was to go to the bathroom. Any idea what activities or the intensity of activities I’m allowed to do while the foetus stabilises? #firsttiimemom #firsttrimester

I took epidural last minute when the pain was unbearable although i tried to avoid it (also because I heard and have relatives who had bad experiences with epi). So now that I'm expecting my 2nd, my colleague told me better to take epi again since I've took it before and had no side effects. But, i'm still worried. May I know what are yall experiences, for those who have 2nd child and above? How was your delivery experiences and is it better to go ahead with epidual again? #Second_Baby

Hey mummies, how much weight gain throughout pregnancy is considered normal or healthy? I’m only just 6 weeks pregnant but have gained quite a bit of weight that I’m starting to feel insecure about my body already and fear for the next 34 weeks to come.. I used to engage in intermittent fasting (16-8) and workout quite a bit (HIIT and strength training mainly), but was told to refrain from any of these during pregnancy. So now I try to briskwalk on treadmill and do light stretches instead, and snack on fruits, yogurt, and granola oats in between meals.. but my weight has gained from 49kg > 53kg… I don’t think it’s normal to be gaining 4kg at just 6 weeks. Any advice?? #insecure #weightgain
