Have been giving mixed feedings to my 3 month babe due to low supply plus frequent visit to polyclinic or hospitalization for jaundice. Had cut down alot on formula after she turned 1 month (couldn't cut out formula fully cos she'll have signs of dehydration after a couple of days fully breastfeed) and breastfeed more often. Turned to a LC for help but only help in achieving a deeper latch. Tried lots of milk boosters but I seems to be immune to it. I realized the more I breastfeed, the more fatigue I am and I tends to sleep more. Is it normal? Babe also latch longer and use my breasts as human pacifier.

Normal. Sleep more, worry less , latch and the milk will come.

I have a almost 7 week baby whom I always nurse her to sleep during midnight feed. She would suckle for 5-10 min before she drifts back to sleep again. Sometimes suckling time less than 5 min. She wakes up every 2 hours. I wonder if she eats enough this way? Should I wake her up or let her sleep?

Since she has already wake up every two hourly, there is no need to wake her up for more. 7 weeks old is still not capable to consume so much, 5-10 mins is quite sufficient to fill up her tiny tummy :)

Should I pump one side or both sides of my breasts during midnight if my baby only nurse one side of my breast?

If you want to build a stash, you can pump on the other side. Else, just let your supply regulate to meet your baby's demands.

WHY do you breastfeed? Needing some motivation here cos my boy is coming 2 years old, below 25% percentile, low interest in food & wanna comfort latch which I give in to. I wanna carry on for as long as he wants to. Here's my skinny one :p

My baby dislikes the lipase taste of frozen bm. I'm worried about starting work next month and i only send my bm back once a week. As much as i try to train her to take frozen bm, she is still not buying it. I know flash heat works to minimize lipase taste but i cant do it at my office. Is it ok if i flash heat the milk all at once when i knock off?

It can be scald altogether and let it cool down to store it in freezer. For your current frozen bm, maybe you can try mixing half fresh to minimise the lipase smell.

My baby had caught a cold. was sneezing and running nose. is there any food to take so that my baby recover faster, or any food to avoid?

Baby is 4mths+ i am still breastfeeding. Used to be able to nurse baby to slp, but lately unable to. baby will turn away and refuse to latch or fussing.

Which is your favourite nursing room in Singapore?

Takashimaya level 4 is my fav. but neighbourhood wise, i usu hang out at causeway point & northpoint still not bad.

Where can I go to get my Avent pump repaired? Apparently the suction power is not that strong anymore... it's 6 months

Spare parts are hard to find in shops - needs to be bought online or in kiddy palace unlike Medela which is found everywhere. Otherwise it's an excellent pump ;)
