Vertigo during pregnancy

Im at 25 weeks and vertigo is very frequent now how to deal with this i couldn’t take it anymore with all d spinning, diziness and vomitting. Multiple doctor visit and A&E already. Cause so much anxiety every single day. 😮‍💨

I totally understand how scary and exhausting this must be, especially with the anxiety on top of it. Vertigo in pregnancy is real and common, but at 25 weeks with this level of impact on your daily life, it's worth asking your PD or gynae specifically about what's causing it and whether there are safe options to manage it better, sometimes it can be helped with certain positions, hydration, or even medication that's safe in pregnancy. Have you mentioned to your doctor how much it's affecting your mental health and daily functioning? They might have more targeted solutions or even refer you to a specialist if needed.

Affordable and comfortable Nursing bra and nursing camisole recommendation

Hi ladies! 😊 Any recommendations for affordable and comfortable nursing bras and nursing camisoles? For bras, I’m looking for the soft pull-on type without any back hooks, preferably wireless and comfortable enough to wear at home/sleep in too. Would love to know which brands you ladies are using and recommend! ❤️

Hi! Happy to help, I've looked into this quite a bit myself too. For soft pull-on nursing bras without hooks, quite a few mums around here swear by Bodily's Everything Bra, especially for the comfort factor at night; one of my neighbours actually used it for all four years of nursing her kids. It's wireless and stretchy, so you can wear it to sleep without feeling squeezed, which is really the dream when you're dealing with engorgement or just want something zero-fuss during the day. For nursing camisoles, the pull-down or fold-down styles tend to be more affordable than structured bras, and they layer nicely under your existing tops too, so you're not replacing your whole wardrobe. The trade-off is they give less support than a proper bra, but for lounging at home or under loose clothing, they're honestly brilliant and budget-friendly. I'd say start with the Bodily if you want one proper investment piece that lasts, then add a couple of simple camisoles on rotation so you're not washing constantly. That combo worked well for me!

Single Umbilical Artery

Anyone got diagnosed with single umbilical artery? Or know of anyone that has this diagnosis? After reading online, I am abit worried about my baby development during the 3rd trimester or future development. Any tips to share?

I understand the worry, but try not to stress too much over what you read online because a lot of those sources can be quite alarmist. Single umbilical artery is something your OB would have flagged and is monitoring for, so the best thing is to follow up with them at your next scan or appointment and ask specifically what they're watching for and what the plan is. Most babies with this do absolutely fine, but your doctor will know your specific situation and can give you real reassurance rather than what Dr Google throws at you.

Constipation Issue During Pregnancy

I am 22 weeks pregnant now and experiencing constipation. I went to a gynecologist, who suggested I take a Fleet enema. Immediately after using it, I felt so comfortable, but I think after two days, the constipation seems to be coming back, though not as seriously as before when sitting was a problem! Is anyone facing the same issue?

Have you tried the prune juice?

Mummies, Gelish or Normal Manicure? 💅🏻 21 weeks preggo

Ladies, can I check if it’s okay to do Gelish manicure during pregnancy, or is it better to just do normal nail polish? 💅🏻

Both should be fine during pregnancy, but normal manicure might be the safer bet if you're worried about the fumes. Gelish lasts longer so you don't have to go back as often, but the removal process uses stronger chemicals and the UV lamp exposure is something to think about, whereas normal polish is just paint and goes off naturally. I stuck with regular polish during my pregnancies just for peace of mind, but plenty of mums do Gelish without issues, especially if the salon is well ventilated. Whichever you choose, just make sure you're sitting somewhere with good airflow and maybe ask your O&G at your next visit if you want extra reassurance.

Tight belly at 22 weeks only?!

Any recommendations to prevent stretch marks, tightness and also itch? I’m only at 22 weeks. TIA

moisturize regularly, it helps with the itch. but for stretch marks, you can try those oils/creams but it's actually genetic so if you are prone to getting stretch marks, the oils/creams may not help. on the bright side, the stretch marks can heal after you give birth!

nauseous & constipation at 16w+3

anyone feeling nauseous and constipation at 16wplus? i been having this since the start or my second trimester. idk what to do. any home remedies recommendations?

Hi I felt better in week 17. for constipation I drink Milo. Nausea is phrase. ginger tea helps me with it. 😊

Hi mama, this is really something you need to work closely with your doctor on rather than try to manage with natural tips alone during pregnancy. High BP in pregnancy needs proper monitoring, so please don't rely on diet or lifestyle changes instead of your medication, your doctor will have you on what's safest for both you and baby right now. Keep all your appointments and let them know if anything feels off, ya. Take care of yourself.
