Cesarean Scar Ectopic Pregnancy

Hi, i'm currently 10 weeks pregnant. Dr now suspect that i have an ectopic pregnancy. Did anyone go through this and also manage to keep the baby?

Number of tries before conceiving

Just want to know how many times do you try before getting pregnant? I am 34 years old, we tried once and conceived but had a miscarriage. Tried once the second time and conceived & I had my first child. However now tried quite a few times but still no news. I am getting quite demoralised & worried that I have issues conceiving.

Oh please don't be too hard on yourself, a few of us in my mum group have been through something very similar, and it is honestly more common than people talk about openly. Secondary infertility is a real thing, and from what I have heard, fertility does shift a bit in your mid-30s, so it can genuinely take more cycles even for people who conceived easily before. One of my mum friends managed to conceive her second on the first or second try at 34, but then found it much harder again a few years later, so even within the same person, every pregnancy journey can be quite different. The honest truth is there is no fixed number, and comparing with others can sometimes make you feel worse than it helps. That said, if you have been trying for a while without success, it is really worth going to see a specialist soon rather than waiting, they can check everything properly and give you a clearer picture of what is actually going on.

Hi Mummies! For those with chubby kids what brand of XXXL diapers would you recommend? My 2 year 2months old boy can no longer fit into his XXL merries - not hugging his tummy as it should and it became low cut for him already... So if your kiddos has ever wore XXXL,please recommend me brands (cutting have to be big) TIA ❤️

If Merries XXL is running low-cut, switch to a brand with a more generous, high-waisted fit. For chubbier toddlers in Singapore, MamyPoko Pants Extra Dry (XXXL) or Huggies Platinum Naturemade Pants (XXXL) are highly recommended because their waistbands stretch significantly higher and wider without digging in. If you're open to ordering online via Shopee or Lazada, Drypers DryPantz (XXXL) and Goo.N Premium Soft (XXXL) also have a much larger cutting than Merries. Try grabbing a single pack of MamyPoko or Huggies first to test the tummy fit!

My toddler is turning 3 years old in september 2025. now he is only able to talk in short phrases however still unable to inform me if he pees or poos. Im very anxious with potty training , i was wondering how do you know your toddler is ready to be potty trained ? & how do u do it ? any tips?. ps : a first time mummy here .

Signs that he’s ready - can stay dry for at least 2hrs, shows interest when u go toilet, can pull pants up and down, and understands simple instructions. Not being able to verbally tell u is ok, some kids show physical cues like squatting or going quiet instead! For tips, what worked for my lo was the 3 day method - clear ur schedule for a long weekend, let him go bottomless at home and bring him to the potty every 30-45mins. Lots of praise and small rewards when he goes even a little bit. Accidents will happen dun scold just clean up calmly. Also try letting him pick his own potty or undies, makes them more excited abt the process 😊 jiayou u got this!!

4 Month C-Sect Postpartum Recovery While 2 Months Pregnant

That sounds like a lot to handle, especially with a newborn and then finding out you're pregnant again so soon. Hugs! While many women do go on to have healthy pregnancies after conceiving shortly after a C-section, it's definitely something your ob should monitor a bit more closely because your body is still recovering from surgery. My suggestion would be to keep all your prenatal appointments, let your doctor know about any unusual pain around your scar area, and try not to overdo the lifting and housework (easier said than done with little ones, I know 😅). Make sure you're eating well, staying hydrated, and taking your prenatal vitamins too. Hopefully some mums who have been through a similar experience can share their stories, but your doctor will be the best person to advise based on how your C-section recovery has been so far. Classes for FTM.

Hi mummies any hospital or places (free/ subsidised/ payable) to reccomand classes for new parents to take care new born? Must we be delivering at the same hospital to be entitled for free classes? TIA!

Hi El! Great that you are planning ahead, it makes such a difference to feel prepared before baby arrives. No, you do not have to be delivering at the same hospital to attend their antenatal classes. Most hospitals and organisations open their classes to all parents regardless of where you are delivering. Here are some options across different price ranges: Free or subsidised options: KKH, NUH and SGH all offer antenatal and parenting classes, some of which are subsidised or even free for Singapore Citizens and PRs. Topics typically covered include newborn care, breastfeeding, infant CPR and labour preparation. You can call their respective women's health departments to ask about the schedule and fees. Subsidised community options: Health Promotion Board runs programmes and resources for new parents at very low or no cost. Family Service Centres in your area sometimes run parenting and newborn care workshops too. Paid but popular options: Antenatal classes by certified doulas and lactation consultants are widely available and often more intimate and detailed. Many mummies find these very worthwhile especially for breastfeeding support. For newborn care specifically, the most practical things to cover are bathing, swaddling, safe sleep, reading baby cues and breastfeeding basics. Full day or Half day Childcare

Anyone switch their child from Full Day to Half Day Cc just because they fall sick.. once sick it took around a week plus to recover. 1 week later it started all over again...

I would say half day childcare not really worths it. Most parents either withdraw their kids fully or just continue because the kid’s immunity will get used to it and become stronger. I think mindchamp feels more structured and a bigger brand, unlike cambridge which is more intimate and smaller-scale, so it gives off a more homely feel
