No bending. Just mop floor with a mop stick.

Yes, good to be active during pregnancy. But ultimately, listen to your body ya!

Sharp shooting pain

Hi, I’m 20 weeks and 2 days now. Suddenly have this sharp shooting pain from my right butt cheek. Any mummies experience this before?

It might be sciatica that you are having. Usually will be left side but some mummies will encounter on the right side of the butt.

Yes I take. It doesn’t affect me. But to be safe, chck with your gyne for the better answer.

Do you get seats on public transport?

Hi fellow mums, I’m in 18 weeks+, there’s slight baby bump but still not obvious.. while on public transport, I’m ok to stand for short distance travel. However, when need to take long distances, change bus and MRT, it’s start to get alittle tired. And my back is starting to hurt recently, headache at times too.. we can’t always take grab/taxi also, it’s too expensive.. what’s your experiences? Do you really go up to the person and ask them to offer seat to u?

This true! even if you stand in front of them, they will just look at their phone and pretend to sleep. But there are some who will offer the sear especially the older ones. There was a time that I really feld bad that a seniot citizen uncle was the one who offered me a seat 🥺

Confinement food.

Hi mummies, currently looking into confinement meals such as tian wei, chili padi and nouriche. I check which confinement food meals is more recommended and why? Mummies who have tried these companies recently can share your experiences with the food if there is any meals repeat and herbal soup such as shen hua tang for confinement etc included?

I 101% will not recommend CP. Food were 90% oily especially the soups. Fish dishes (be it steamed/soup) were very fishy (to the extend even my husband who eats everything cannot take it). Bags will occasionally have leaks or a stench from the leaks that were not cleaned properly by other users. You still have to wash all the containers to return them, imagine if someone else just anyhow wash then you get that container…. But this is just me la, I would advise you to go for all their food trials (be it TW/CP or Nouriche) cause everyone’s taste bud different. I personally will try relacto for my next pregnancy.

Hi, just checking how much is the subsidized blood test for checking thallesemia and down syndrome in public hosp? It is quoted as $2000 in private. This is for 12 weeks blood work.

Anybody tried taking Eno fruit salt during pregnancy?

For heartburn and bloating? Is it safe and does it works ?

You can try sparkling water or gaviscon to reduce heartburn bloating which some mummie taken but in small quantity or as prescribe.

Stopped working since pregnancy

Anyone stopped working since pregnancy? Ive been staying home most of the time and doing basically nothing. What do you guys do?

Me too! I had to resign as I was too sick and alot of complications during the 1st trimester. But i'm currently working part time so there are days where I'm just at home, binge watching some Disney+ shows 😂

Any pregnancy milk for recommendation? I havent been eating anything nutritious since pregnancy. Heard from people that pregnancy milk taste bad, is that true?

Not at all. I have been taking An Mum Chocolate Materna milk for both my pregnancy.
