Hi mummies, My son is currently 4 months old going to be 5 this month. However he doesnt want or always fussy to drink milk when he is awake.. the only time he will drink is when he is half asleep. We tried changing the bottles from hegen, nuk and pigeon and still the same, even the milk powder from nan, enfamil and s26. He can sleep from 8pm onwards till 7am the next morning without milk which worries me.. Help, is this normal? Any tips to make it easier for him to drink milk?

It’s normal The fact he can sleep through like normal adults is a good sign in itself

Hi mummies, my LO is 5 mths old but she still has yet to roll over. Her head is holding up well when we give her tummy time. Recently noticed that she will use her legs to kick the floor and shift upwards instead. Should I be concerned? Also is it time to train her to sit? So that we can prepare her for solids at 6 mths

My baby was closer to 6 months before rolling over, mummy 😊 My PD wasn't concerned because she had good head control and was meeting her other milestones. The scooting/pushing with her legs sounds like she's figuring out how to move around too 😅 As for sitting, I did lots of supported sitting and floor play around that age, but I didn't force it. Most babies will develop the strength gradually. ❤️

Travelling to Msia in car with full load

Hi all, understand that when travelling in car, babies definitely need to be in their car seat. But do anyone know if we have a full load of 5 adults in the car, can we hand carry the baby? Especially when clearing custom... anyone with the same experience please share. Thank you!

Drove to KL over the weekends with 4 adults 2 babies both carried in hand. All good.

Hydrocele in baby

Hi parents. Can I check if any of you had experience of hydrocele with your baby boy? My son had it when he's 2 months old. He's 5 months old now. I'm not sure how to check it but he has an appt in Oct. I'm hoping all goes well as I don't want him to go thru operation:( Any home remedy.

My baby boy had a hydrocele too, mummy. ❤️ Our PD told us that many hydroceles resolve on their own as babies grow, so we were advised to monitor and attend follow-up appointments. Unfortunately, I wasn't given any home remedies, just observation. Try not to worry too much for now and see what the doctor says at the next review. Hopefully it continues to improve on its own and surgery won't be needed 🤍

BM Dropped Drastically

Hello mummies, seeking for some advices here. I was down with fever, flu and cough for around 2 weeks. During this time my BM has decreased drastically. From 200-300ml per pump to less than 50ml per pump now. Feeling so stress and sad about the decrease. Will my supply come back gradually or should I just wean off breast milk? My bb is currently 4.5 months and been on FM as I was sick and taking medicine. Thank you in advance for your advices

I faced the same thing too when I fall ill. Unable to get it bk to original amt. So I am weaning off.. Too stressful

Formula milk brand

Im planning to mix feed my baby with bm and fm. Reason for this is to top-up in case my supply falls short. Then subsequently feed him fm every night before bedtime. My boy just turned 3 months and i recently fed him with bm + lactogen. He drank all but the next day he had constipation. So that's when i know the brand doesnt suit him or he probably doesn't take mix feeding well. But i wanna try again with a different brand. Any recommendations?

Hi fellow mummies, does anyone know if this is heat rash? So far baby doesn't have skin allergies or eczema but this red rash came out of nowhere. TIA!#firsttimemom

yeah heat rash. try pureen blue colour powder. that one absorbs moist quite well. keep babies dry too
