Hydrocele in baby

Hi parents. Can I check if any of you had experience of hydrocele with your baby boy? My son had it when he's 2 months old. He's 5 months old now. I'm not sure how to check it but he has an appt in Oct. I'm hoping all goes well as I don't want him to go thru operation:( Any home remedy.

My baby boy had a hydrocele too, mummy. ❤️ Our PD told us that many hydroceles resolve on their own as babies grow, so we were advised to monitor and attend follow-up appointments. Unfortunately, I wasn't given any home remedies, just observation. Try not to worry too much for now and see what the doctor says at the next review. Hopefully it continues to improve on its own and surgery won't be needed 🤍
