Curious, about nanny
Does your nanny talk on the phone via voice msgs? N like on speaker kind?
Hi there, It's completely understandable to be curious and cautious about the behavior of your nanny, especially when it comes to phone usage around your children. In my experience, it's important to establish clear communication and set expectations with your nanny from the start. If you prefer that your nanny limits phone use, including voice messages or speakerphone, it’s best to have an open conversation about it. You can politely explain that you want to ensure that her focus remains on the children and that excessive phone use can be distracting. You might consider setting specific guidelines, like only allowing personal calls during breaks or nap times, and using headphones instead of the speakerphone if she needs to take a call. It's also good to lead by example and show appreciation for her efforts to adhere to these guidelines. Maintaining a balance of mutual respect will help in fostering a positive working relationship. Read moreno I don't allow to use phone while working. same rule goes for us who go to work too. it's basic courtesy tell her. it's your house aka her workplace. so be mindful. set the boundaries early before she gets more brave. I only allow during day break time around 1230 and at the end of the day around 2100. so far my helper is ok
Read moreYes, also, understand they do so because their eyesights is not as good as before and so it makes it hard to type + their type speed is low.
