please wait for at least 6 months before you do anything heavy duty. otherwise, if your scars have healed and your doc has given you the go-ahead, you can start light exercises about 3 months after the operation. try light walking first and see how it goes. if you experience any pain or discomfort, please stop immediately and speak to your doc.

A lot depends on how you have recovered post surgery and how your scar has healed. Light exercise like walking and leg raises can start after 3-4 months also. Do not try any heavy exercises before consulting your doctor.
