Just wanted to ask about your experience and how the recovery was for you. I have a toddler at home who still needs me for quite a lot of things, so I’m a bit worried about how to manage after the surgery. 😭How long did it take before you could move around properly and do normal things again? Any experience or tips to share would really help 🙏  #recommendation #needadviceplease

I havent had a torn ACL myself, but I know a few mums whove gone through it and honestly its tough with young kids at home. Recovery timelines vary a lot depending on whether you do surgery and how your physio goes, so Id really encourage you to have a detailed chat with your orthopaedic surgeon about what the realistic timeline looks like for you and what modifications youll need early on. In the meantime, it might be worth thinking about who can help you during the first few weeks at least - whether thats family, a helper, or even just friends doing school runs or meal prep, because you really cant rush this one. Its better to plan ahead than end up pushing too hard and setting yourself back. Wishing you all the best with it.
