ezbuy/China parcels
Those who bought items from Taobao/ezbuy, do you take any special precaution when receiving the parcels? Say after parcel arrives in Singapore at Ezbuy, you collect a few days later or disinfect parcels when you receive them?
It takes so long to get here that the germs from china would have died. Haha. But since COVID-19 is all around Singapore too, the usual precautions apply when receiving it.. you can open the packaging, then use a clean hand to take your items out, throw away the packaging and wash your hands immediately:)
Read moreMy dear. The germs die already.. They cannot survive in such a hot weather. Or even when they are being shipped out in the container is already so hot. Die liao la. U only need to worry of the dust that got your hands dirty. Dont rub eye. If not sore eye. :D
Not really haha cuz the germs would have been killed since it was being shipped out, as it is being exposed to a high temperature But I would open the parcel immediately, and throw the package after which and disinfect it for safety purpose
My items came from china too. When i receieve e item, placed outside corridor on e floor, then i spray dettol. I open my parcel after few hours. Remember to wash your hands. Fyi germs already died n wont stay in

Erm, I actually spray dettol spray over a parcel and the item itself as it was delivered from Korea 😂 aiya just play it safe la since it only takes a few seconds to spray it
The risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is low.
Usually I’ll wash my hands after opening and discarding of the boxes/wrappers. If items are meant for my child, I’ll clean first before passing it to him.
Just dust or wipe it Virus won’t stay on stuff anyways Not after the shipping time
Actually the Singapore hot weather will kill the germs on parcel
