Need help!!

Hi mummies! 🤍 I'm currently pregnant and for the past few weeks, my eyes have been feeling really dry and gritty. Sometimes they get so uncomfortable that I just want to keep them closed. 😅 I read that pregnancy hormones can cause dry eyes, but I wanted to ask if any other mums have experienced the same thing. Did your dry eyes get better as your pregnancy went on, or did they stay the same until after you gave birth? Did you end up seeing an optometrist or an eye doctor while you were pregnant, and was it safe? Also, were there any eye drops or simple remedies that helped and were safe to use during pregnancy? I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences. Being pregnant already comes with so many changes, so I'm hoping this is something other mums can relate to. Thank you so much! 🤍

I had dry eyes during my pregnancy too, especially in the second trimester. Keeping my eyes hydrated with preservative free artificial tears (after checking with my doctor) and taking regular breaks from screens really helped. Mine gradually improved after I gave birth. If the discomfort gets worse or your vision changes, it's worth getting your eyes checked just to be safe. 💕
