Has anyone experienced eye problems after giving birth?

I'm currently 5 weeks postpartum and have been dealing with really dry, itchy eyes. My vision has also sometimes been blurry, but not all the time, which has been worrying me, i'm wondering if anyone else has gone through something similar. If you've seen an eye doctor for this, I'd really appreciate any recommendations, especially for someone near Mount Elizabeth. Thank you!

Hi! :) I went through something quite similar after having my baby. My eyes felt really dry and uncomfortable, and there were times when my vision would seem a little off too. I ended up seeing Dr Leo Seo Wei, who checked my eyes and told me it was dry eyes. He prescribed some eye drops, and they really helped. Of course, every situation is different, especially after giving birth, so I'd still recommend getting your eyes checked just to be safe. There are other eye conditions that can cause similar symptoms too. Hope you feel better soon, and congratulations on your little one! 🤍

ivd experienced this before too, but I honestly didn't see a doctor. I just made sure to rest my eyes more, cut down on my screen time, and it gradually got better. Hopefully it's nothing serious, but if it doesn't improve or gets worse, it's still a good idea to have your eyes checked...🙂

Hmm... I think it might be dry eyes. Maybe try resting your eyes every now and then and using some lubricating eye drops to see if it helps. 🙂
