Anyone here with endometriosis? Can lifestyle changes help or is surgery needed?

Hi everyone, I was recently wondering about endometriosis and wanted to hear from others who have been through it. For those who have endometriosis, were you able to manage your symptoms through lifestyle changes, diet, or other treatments, or did you eventually need surgery? I'm trying to understand what the usual treatment options are and whether surgery is always necessary. Would really appreciate hearing about your experiences, especially what helped with your symptoms and when you decided to see a specialist. Thank you! 🤍

Answering this for my sister, but yes, she had endometriosis surgery because the medications were not controlling her symptoms well enough. Her doctor also explained that endometriosis can sometimes affect nearby organs if it progresses, so surgery was recommended in her case. I think it really depends on the severity and each person's situation, so it's best to consult a gynaecologist to understand what treatment may be suitable for you. Hope this helps! 🤍

Hello! From what I know, it can be treated depending on your situation. I think it’s best to consult a doctor to know what treatment is suitable for you. 🤍
