I am a young mummy,18,my daughter is 7 mo .Im am suffering prolapsed uterus stage 1.. Any mummies have gone through?? Please give me some tips/advise

In addition to Kegel exercises, you can also consider the following lifestyle changes which may help to slow down the progression of the condition: - Maintain an ideal body weight (Excessive weight gain would increase pressure on the pelvic floor). - Avoid lifting heavy things. - Quit smoking (The chronic cough associated with smoking may worsen an existing prolapse). - Correct constipation (You can do so by increasing your daily consumption of dietary fibre, coupled with appropriate amount of fluid intake. Chronic straining caused by constipation weakens and damages the connective tissue and muscles in the pelvis). - Cut back on caffeine if you have a urinary problem (Caffeine is diuretic and can cause you to urinate more often). Sorry to hear that you are suffering prolapsed uterus.what you can do at home is you can strengthen your pelvic muscles by performing Kegel exercises. You do these by tightening your pelvic muscles, as if trying to stop the flow of urine. This exercise strengthens the pelvic diaphragm and provides some support. Kegel Exercise -Find the muscles you use to stop urinating. -Squeeze these muscles for 3 seconds. Then relax for 3 seconds. Your stomach and thigh muscles should not tighten when you do this. -Add 1 second each week until you are able to squeeze for 10 seconds each time. -Repeat this exercise 10 to 15 times per session. Try to do this at least 3 times a day. Hope this helps.
