How to get LO to learn crawling?

Each child is unique and will learn each skills at their own pace. Some may even skip crawling and go from sitting to standing. So not to worry mummy. But of course they are ways to encourage your LO to crawl. 1) Tummy time is important as it helps to strengthen the arm, back and neck muscles. Assisting your LO in sitting position also helps to build the abdominal muscle. 2) Use toys that your LO and put it infront to entice your LO to move forward to grab it. Cheer and encourage your LO on. Read moreI tried tempting my boy to move forward when he was having tummy time by stacking blocks in front of him. he loves to tumble them so he will push himself forward commando style. I slowly increase the distance between him and the stacks of blocks each time so he moves further each time. however, eventually, he got from commando crawling to sitting first before crawling without his tummy touching the floor. you can encourage her to sit up. try putting cushions loosely around her to protect her if she topples over. supervise her as well. after a few weeks, she should be able to put out her hand to keep her balance.
Read moreTummy time. From the start, long before your baby's ready to crawl, give him plenty oftummy time. Placing your baby on his tummy and playing with him for several minutes a few times a day while he's awake and alert will help to develop muscles that he needs to crawl. Tummy time can also prevent a flat spot from developing on his head, which sometimes happens when infants spend a lot of time on their backs.
Read more1st you have to have some tummy time daily to strengthen their muscles to prepare them for crawling. After their neck & hand muscles are stronger, You can encourage them by using toys like a rattle, ball. As they want to reach the toy, they have to crawl. However, every child is different so do not be stress if your child is not crawling as early as his peers

I help my LO putting a toy in front of her, and use her hand left up, right up, than push her leg left up right up, to let her have a feel of this is crawling. Can try putting her on the floor, with toys around her to motivate her to move to get them.
You can help motivate ur LO Ny having more tummy time and placing a toy Infront of them and encourage them to move forward to get it. Usually I'll lay on my belly on the ground with them and maintain eye contact.. Try it! :)
Give your LO more tummy time. Then exercise their legs. Hehe. I do that for my boy to build up his muscles! When he's ready, he will do it.
Tummy time whenever possible but really, they will learn when ready and really quickly! How old is your baby?
