Personally, I would avoid nuts, honey, cow's milk and any other foods that has a food allergy reaction to anyone in my family's history. According to most parenting articles, eight foods are responsible for 90 percent of food allergies: milk, wheat, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, seafood, and fish. Berries, seeds, corn, and other foods can also be problematic. Some allergies fade as children mature. Wheat, milk, and egg allergies are the most commonly abandoned by growing kids, while shellfish, fish, and peanut allergies tend to be lifelong. http://www.parents.com/baby/health/allergy/introducing-solids-to-prevent-allergies/

For me, I try to avoid peanut and honey (due to botulism) for baby below 1year old. From this website, it said that some fishes, citrus food, nuts and strawberries will cause allergy reaction for baby too. http://wholesomebabyfood.momtastic.com/forbiddenbabyfood.htm
