What are pros and cons of being with your spouse literally everyday?

I am blessed to be with my wife for almost 20 years already. One of the advantages that I am thankful for is that we have reached the highest level of comfort for almost two decades of living with each other. I do not have any cons actually because I enjoy every minute of being with my spouse everyday. Of course, you don't get the privilege of deciding things on your own and having alone time, however, who needs those when you have a loving wife and two kids? In reality, this is the life that I chose. Part of my wedding vow is being with her everyday and indeed, it is a blessing that I would not exchange with anything.

My mother in law has started telling my 3 yr old Indian mythological stories and my kid has started imagining and giving references to the characters. I don't see this as a good sign and do not wish him to be influenced. How do I control/stop the same?

Imagination is a beautiful world in a child's mind. From these, they learn life skills. They learn about consequences and the need to be responsible. Pls don't control or stop it. As ur kid grows,he will turn to other options automatically.

Does your family have a regular scheduled out of town of out of the country trips just for leisure?

Yes! We always make sure to line up trips for our little unit and with both sides of the family (though those have to be planned way earlier). I think travel is so important for our child's learning and for our bonding as a family. It's really the best way to build memories.

Is it advisable to have two kids or one child is also fine, considering that the kid will have no real sibling?

Growing up with siblings is admittedly much more fun for the child - never a dull moment. That being said, there are lots of only children out there that grew up surrounded with cousins, friends and schoolmates and they never complained of ever being lonely. My inlaws expects me to remember their birthdays, anniversary but when it's my birthday they never wish me. On my anniversary too they wish my husband and not me. I find them to be too egoist and I get irritated by their behaviour. What to do to not get stressed?

I used to call up many friends and relatives on their anniversary and birthday but many of them never wished me back on my birthday and anniversary, even my in-laws! I stopped wishing them too!

How do you balance your time between with your kids and your spouse?

So true, Blanche. I think each mother has their own level of balance in attending to the needs of her husband and kids. As for me, I balance it with letting my husband know that our kids are always the top priority but reassuring that he isn't left behind and that he is and will always be well taken care of.
