My daughter is turning 4 years old by June and she is not yet potty train ready. I've been exclusively cloth diapering her since she was 4 months to the present that I think she's so comfortable with it she doesn't want to pee or poo on the toilet. I bought her a potty seat with music, ended up selling it because it became a dust collector. Bought a potty toilet seat cover as well with her favorite character Dora but doesn't want to sit on it because Dora will get dirty. Been bribing her with prizes if she gets to pee or poo on the toilet but she still manages to hold them off. Please give me ideas/tips on how to potty train her. She'll soon be attending formal school and it would be awkward that her teacher still be the one to wash her when she goes to the toilet. Thank you in advance!

do you prefer to homeschool your preschooler?

Yes :) very happy with our decision. They have more time to do extra curricular activities such as music and sports :)

Help 4 year old learn alphabets

My younger son is 4yrs old this year, he still cant recognize all alphabet and number. How to help?

Hi Regina, I suggest that you consult a developmental pediatrician for your son so that you would know what’s the best approach.

Hi Moms! Any of you here juggling being a WAHM and homeschooling your kids? Do you have a formal homeschool curriculum that you follow or are you DIY-ing it like me?

I enrolled my kids with VCIS and we have the Bob Jones University press materials :) they are also DepEd accredited :)

My 5 year old is studying a private preschool now.. While I am generally happy with the school, it is rather small and the school fees keep increasing. Thinking of enrolling my 1.5 year old in another center, mid ranged and Gd reviews. Anyone changed kindergarten for their kid be4? Any implications?

It really depends on your own feeling about that particular pre school . Both my girls are in PCF ( 100% government ) .

How to make kids eat faster during school days? Any routines we can do to avoid getting late? We have tried waking up early but we still miss the school bus.

You can also try giving them a bath first before breakfast. So they will feel alive and awake! That's what my daughter prefer to do first. To avoid being late in school. :)
