How do you cope with your first trimester? Currently, I just feel so tired, nauseated.. I cant eat anything without feeling like vomiting. But I'm also hungry. What do you guys recommend? Update: Thank you everyone for the lovely reply and support! ❤

Hi dear my first trimester was bad too. Maybe you can try plain crackers (i got the Meiji ones) and apples. That’s pretty much what helped me got through my first trimester. :)

Baby measuring small at 36 weeks

Hi. I’m going into my 36 weeks soon and I went for my usual routine scan yesterday. (35+5). Gynae says that baby is measuring small at about 2.2kg :( my previous scan at 31weeks, baby was around 1.5kg. So she said baby’s growth is slow and should be more than 2.5kg by now. she also told me that it’s not because I’m not eating enough because blood test shows that it’s my placenta “ageing” earlier than expected. She suggested inducing my baby at 38 weeks if baby’s growth is stagnant due to my incompetent placenta. Any advices or anyone who went through the same thing as me?

Hospitalisation leave

I’m currently at week 35, and having next appt at week 37. Have been feeling tired easily lately. Would it be ok to request to have HL from week 37 or 38 onwards? Not too sure if being tired is an acceptable reason for HL… FYI, im seeing Dr at NUH. #firsttimemom

Week 5 to 6 ultrasound picture

Any mummies willing to share your ultrasound scans here? Went for my first scan and gestational sac dated 5.5weeks but no yolk and fetal pole. Doctor seems concerned about missed miscarriage, awaiting scan in 2 weeks. Curious how a week 5 to 6 scan should look like..

Employment

My employer gave me stupid excuses for not confirming me just because I'm pregnant. Yesterday my boss just suddenly called for a meeting tgt w hr. Mentioned want to talk about my performance. But all the points she mentioned are so unfair and unreasonable . Saying I nv do the things tat actually I have done so much. Then called me to look for a hair stylist to do something w my white and baby hair (my work place is not a place tat I need to dress up). Then pick on me for very small correctable things. And oso put words in my colleague's mouth saying she is not comfortable working w me around (when I'm so close to her supporting each other at work). I guess this is all about what they said and I said matters. After I shared w hubby he said the whole picture was very simple... They just don't want to cover my maternity benefits. I guess even if I go report to mom,... There's nothing they can do. Am I right? I'm ok not to work but I just find it unfair treatment in such a big name company. Any advice? 😢

Choosing specialist for delivery

I am currently a public patient at NUH, currently at week 32. I am planning to go for a specialist after week 36, as I prefer to have a certain doctor for delivery due to some personal reasons. I understand that I will become a private patient once I choose doctor and thus the clinic charges will go up, but I am a bit confused about how it’s gonna affect the delivery charges. Are there any mommies who did like this? I really would appreciate any information on this. #pregnancy

Braxton hicks for more than 15 mins

Hi mummies, anyone ever felt braxton hicks, whole stomach is hard, for more than 15 mins? Doesnt hurt at all. I can still feel baby’s movement but my stomach is still hard Is it normal

GEH SG delivery charges

Hello mummies! Anyone recently gave birth at GEH SG? Can I know the estimated total bill paid for? TIA

Eh honestly the info I have is abit mixed lah! My neighbour delivered at Gleneagles (GEH) last year and she mentioned the estimated total bill can vary quite a bit depending on which ward you choose, like B2 or C class wards with government subsidy will obviously be much lower than a private room.
