Growth scan @KKH

This is my first pregnancy & ill be going for my growth scan on 28th week @ KKH. So far my 20th detailed scan turns out good. Can anybody brief me whats growth scan? Is it like the 20w detailed scan? Or its just a normal scan and will it be long ? And any tips ? Am a little scared for baby’s growth 😣 same feeling im having before the 20w detailed scan. ##firsttimemom advicepls

20 week detailed scan will be at ADC, Level 2. 28 week growth scan will be at AMC, Level 1. It is to check on baby's growth, weight, all the necessary in baby and amniotic fluid too. If you need to reconfirm gender, you can also ask them to check which I did at ADC and AMC. Not much tips but whatever you have did in 20 week check up prep, you can do. ADC and AMC is different clinic in KKH hence why you have this two clinics to visit on the earlier part and later.

Worried about week 20 detailed scan

Does anybody worried something might gone wrong with the detailed scan in week 20? Im in week 19 and soon will be due for detailed scan. Im starting to feel negatively about what's going to happen. I really hope the baby is doing fine inside me. 😔 the anxiety and worry is consuming me... #firstbaby #FTM #pleasehelp

Yes I totally understand. I was like that too. Be sure to fill your minds with positive things as our moods affect our baby. Try talking to your spouse or friends too. It’s normal to feel worried and anxious if the baby is doing ok. Trust that God is in control and your baby is doing well :)

Week 18 stomach pain

I'm currently in 18 weeks and today I experienced tummy discomfort. The pain is 1/10 but i feel weird in the tummy. Oh, i had a cup of jasmine green tea and chicken briyani for lunch today. Idk is it indigestion or is it something that i have to be aware now.. or is it uterus expanding or what? Desperately need advice!! #pleasehelp #FTM #firstpreganancy

Hi mummies. Anyone bought a glucometer before? I was told it is $60 at KK. Patients were able to rent preCovid. I'm not intending to buy one. Does anybody know if there's anywhere that still allow renting of glucometer?

I bought before but not from KKH. But can also order online frm lazada mah. Anyway not sure about ur 2nd qns on renting but i actually have 2 glucometere 😅 one for home n one for outside use coz hb says i dun need to keep cleaning it when i get home

Change due date

Would my doctor change my due date if i ovulated early? For example normally will ovulate around around day 14th. But if i ovulated around day 7- 10th. Would they change my due date?

Edd will change 1-2 times based on baby size

Uterus suddenly expands and bloats.

Not sure how to describe this, but I'm in my 2nd trimester, 20 weeks and have been feeling my baby's strong kicks since abt a week ago 😆. I now instinctively put my hand on my tummy when I lay down. I discovered that frequently, for no apparent reason, my uterus will just suddenly quickly inflate (like a balloon) for like less than a min or 2 before deflating again. A slice of batang fish and sambal belacan

Im in 19 weeks into pregnancy and I accidentally ate sambal belacan and batang fish. This is my first time and im feeling so bad for my baby.. is it safe to eat these once in a while? #FTM #firsttimemom #firstbaby #pleasehelp

Guys - I was down with flu in April for a week and have recovered. 3 weeks later and until today I am down with cough, the cough has been lingering for 2 weeks! It is very uncomfortable as I always have leakage when the cough gets too strong. I have been taking the medicine given by GP but it doesnt seem to work.. Any home remedy that can make me recover fast? There is no phlegm and no sore throat.. the cough is very dry cough and I just took my TDAP vaccine today
