Slight vaginal pain after sex

Now in 3rd trim, is it normal sometimes our vagina feels slight pain/sore or even feel like theres a slight tear after doing sex? Not the whole vagina but specifically the perineum area, the tissue/skin below our opening. It doesnt necessarily hurts when doing but only after the deed. Is this normal? Or is it because of pregnancy our vagina is a little sensitive ? I cant imagine how itll be like giving birth vaginally 😵‍💫 #FTM

Do you feel the same? Last trimester

My EDD is 1-2 weeks away, since 2 weeks ago i dont feel like going out coz whenever i walk i feel like peeing and have to rush to find toilet. Anyone experiencing the same? I feel baby pushing the bladder all the timeeeee

I read that this urge to pee is especially pronounced when your baby is head down, so that's probably why as well.

Feet swelling after delivery

Im a FTM and yet to deliver. Is it true that our feet will swell badly after delivery, be it vaginally or csect? Or it doesnt happen to everyone ?

It didn’t happen to me though. Rmb to always lift your legs on a pillow to support

Calf muscle twitches at night

Im currently 32w, other than calf cramp everynow and then, since past few days, my calf muscle and toes always keep twitching for quite awhile. Always happen at night when im about to go to sleep. Like the muscle and toe will move by itself abit. Which is very uncomfortable and not able to sleep. Doesnt hurt just that its weird and very uncomfortable. Stretching doesnt help at all. Anyone experiencing the same ? #FTM

I had muscle cramps on the calf area for both pregnancy. It is normal. This is due to body/blood circulation, pressure in baby's growth. You need to massage or use hot/cold pack to put at your calf.

When to switch to private?

Hi everyone. I’m in my first trimester and looking to switch to private soon from subsidised. But need some advice here. When is the best time I should start to convert to a private patient? Help pls.

Honestly, if youre not fussy, maybe can change during 3rd trim. Try to get all the flu, whooping cough vaccine, detailed scans, glucose test under subsidized cs price is cheaper with gov subsidise. Then once youre in 3rd trim, change to private. Im changing to private at 35 weeks.

Manually push baby off ribs

Hi mummies, as baby is growing bigger, in 3rd trim, i find that baby is always pushing on my right ribs but never the left ribs , is this normal? And will we hurt the baby if we gently push the baby off our ribs ? In hoping itll change its position altho most of the time itll stay there 😅 #FTM

You can try rubbing your tummy in circles to “signal” baby to move 😂

Unstable emotions

Hi mummies, just for ranting. I am an over thinker myself before pregnancy bt i guess its getting overloaded with this hormonal change. I find myself getting overly emotional, overly thinking abt so many things which disturbs my feelings. At times, im able to sleep it off or turn it off my mind bt at times, i realize that i dont knw hw to hide it. My body language, my expression will tell it off. I feel bad for my husband bcoz this tghts mainly involving him. I can out of the blue feels that i am not worthy to compare to the great ladies of his past. Like i feel i dont do him justice. Like i feel as though he has lost his charms bcoz of me. I still always finds me the warmth of eyes and he is charming always to me. But its just wen something small triggers, den i wld start to compare hw he was previously as to hw he was nw with me. I am a plain jane to begin with. A simple mom who does simple mom duties as my current kids were all grown up. I work and rarely cooks, which makes me feel less of a wife. I dont dress well, i dont cooks well, i dont clean as often. I feel so unpretty at times, comparing hw some mom glows so much and still maintaining their figure despite being pregnant. And i feel embarassed for him. Like he is such a fine man, walking next to a walking dugong i guess hahaha. Bt ya, its been really disturbing. I knw being emotional isnt good for my baby bt well, i didnt ask to be this emotional

Female gynae at Punggol area

Hi mummies. Do you know of any female gynae that offers pre-natal checkup at Punggol? Thank you 😊

I really feel you on this, finding a female gynae you're comfortable with makes such a big difference especially during pregnancy. I don't have a specific name in Punggol off the top of my head, but it might be worth checking with the Punggol Polyclinic first as they can refer you to a female gynae at KKH or a nearby private clinic that suits your needs. You could also post in the KKH mummies Facebook group lah, the mums there are usually very helpful with specific recommendations like this.
