How much medisave to have in cpf for delivering baby?

Anyone can share how much we should have in our medisave to deliver a child? For natural birth under subsidies #FTM #firstbaby #firstmom

If youre under subsidized, theres not much to pay. I think 3k in cpf for either parents should be fine.

Hi everyone. Can share what its like to take blood test at polyclinic to see if pregnant? How long will it take get results and is it have to wait to see dr aft the drawing blood on that day?

I went to private clinic. But quite fast tho. They would take the hcg blood test from your arm, then you would need to wait a few days, then the clinic will call once the result is out. Usually will need to go clinic back to see dr then they will tell the result. For polyclinic i believe you can even look for the result thru healthbuddy app, which sometimes can be fast, around 2 days.

Private gynae @ KKH

Hi, ill be changing to private gynae @ KKH for my next appt, 35 weeks. For labour/delivery, do we need to inform them when we’re making our way to hospital for delivery ? Or theyll be informed by hospital itself once we’re there. And also do we need to call the hospital/delivery suite before gg there or can just straight go there #FTM

No need to call in advance. Just go straight to level 2 delivery suite.

As someone who is scared of pain, would you go for natural delivery or c sect? Pain tolerance is zero……..

I went for natural. Delivery was painless with the help of laughing gas and epidural. I’m also very afraid of needles so I’m super thankful that the IV and epidural needle only inserted when I was on laughing gas. Recovery was good, the only pain was a few hours after birth but after that it was all good. Just felt a little sore down there but no pain.

Hot bath soak when pregnant

Currently in 3rd trim and will be going for a staycaytion soon. Is it safe to soak myself in a bathtub with hot water (bubble bath)? Or atleast warm water. #FTM

PPROM at 18 weeks

Dr have diagnosed me with PPROM at 18 weeks and currently I’m admitted in hospital .. the leakage have stop .. anyone have the same issue like me ?? How long will I need to be admitted to the hospital ??

Water bag leak at 14 weeks

Went to KKH yesterday regarding my green discharge. Doctor said my water bag is leaking at 14 weeks. I also got infection. Impossible to keep the pregnancy. I feel so sad. Anyone experience this situation before and still continue to observe on antibiotics?
