When do we choose our wards - KKH
Hi mummies who delivered or will be delivering @ KKH, exc those that have scheduled csec or induction, is booking or ward type be done during admission itself when you go to hospital for delivery ? Does it apply same for private patient ? As i heard some mummies did their preadmission @ 36 weeks onwards, but my gynae (private gynae kkh) told me booking of wards can be done on the day of delivery itself during admission. But im scared by then the ward (A1 ward) that i want will be fully booked. #FTM

Hi mummies, i just read few post here which i didnt know it works this way. For KKH. Does it apply for both subsidized and private patient ? Heard that gynae will only come in once we’re in active labour, or ready to give birth. Other than that, we will only be attended by random nurses. Is this true ? What if we’re almost fully dilated but our gynae still not there ? #FTM

Or we’ll be sent to our ward first ? When do they strap the ctg thing & check dilation ? Can walk me through the procedure/steps? So i know what to expect. As for ward stay charges, they will only charge the days post delivery stay right ? Not before the stay in the event we have to stay at ward before being pushed to labour room. #FTM
