Pain in vagina when bladder is fulk after csect

After csection, even a month, is it normal to feel a weird sensation around your pubic and vagina whenever your bladder is full or you need to pee. For some reason sometimes i feel some kind of pain in my vagina or feel like my pubic area is “bloated” whenever my bladder is full or i need to pee. But no pain when peeing.

I think quite normal cos ur nerve was being cut off during surgery also. Takes time to heal.

5 weeks PP still cramp when lay too long

Anybody who went thru csect still feel crampy either on the incision or lower abdomen when they sit or lay in bed too long ? I am 5 weeks PP and still feeling it 😣 #firsttimemom

Yes. I’m 2 months pp and a young mom. Still hurts every now and then.

Having viral infection at 38 weeks

I was supposed to Have my scheduled csect on 24 oct but due to my viral infection, coughing.. the doc postponed to 1 week later and gave me antibiotics.. am so worried if I wldnt recover in time, u know how long cough usually takes to recover right... haiz..#pleasehelp #advicepls

I think mainly cause if you cough after csect, man thats the worst! Itll feel like your wound was ripped apart and also, coughing might cause extra pressure on your wound esp the first few days, causing it to reopen. And also need to note that csect is a major surgery you do not want to have a pre existing infection

Pati ikan haruan after csection

Does pati ikan haruan only help to heal the outside wound or it can also help heal the inside wound ? For csection. Anyone consumed it ?

My Malay masseur told me it heals internal wound. I drank it everyday for about 2 months.

Lower abdomen muscle sore after csect

Anyone feel their lower abdomen muscle still sore weeks after csect ? And when does it get better? I was told by my gynae the muscle was stitched up to prevent diasistic recti(?) that’s why im feel sore below the belly button onwards. However its been 5 weeks still doesn’t get better. What if i never recover. Even the skin on my lower abdoment is sensitive and sore to touch

C sect mom here. Ooh which hospital were you warded in? I didn’t know can get stitch for D.R. There are videos on YouTube on how to mobilise c sections scars so that it doesn’t kinda harden up and cause discomfort in the future. Perhaps you can opt for physio moving forward

Hypnobirthing class or online link?

Hi everyone, I'm keen to start a hypnobirthing class either physical or via online. Has anyone joined such class and if yes, could you please share the details. P/s I'm currently 33 weeks and probably too late to start the physical classes which are held in 4- 5 sessions. 😪 #firsttimemom #advicepls #firstbaby #FTM #firstmom

At 33 weeks you still have time, some mums have started as late as 37 weeks and still found it really useful, so don't stress too much about that! From what I've heard, HypnoBirthing Singapore runs a 5-week program that totals around 12.5 hours, so depending on their schedule you might be able to fit it in before your due date. My friend looked into Birth Discovery here in Singapore and said they're quite flexible about starting later in pregnancy, and their focus is very much on understanding your own mind and birth process, which she felt made a real difference in her confidence. The trade-off with online options is cost, there are group classes out there that run about SGD 295 per couple for five sessions, which is more affordable, but some mums felt the in-person experience gave them more personalised support. I'd say if budget allows and timing works, in-person is probably worth it, but online is still a solid option rather than skipping it altogether.

Hi mummies, can I check if the 2 days normal delivery package stay at Thomson medical means 2 nights stay over or just 1 night? Considering the 1 bedder so my husband can stay over, but doesn't seem worth it if it's just 1 night. Any recommendations?

Mine was stated 2.0 days, I stayed 2 nights. Single room.

Anyone ever been prescribed gabapentin due to nerve pain ? Specifically after giving birth via csect And how is it

Nerve pain after a C-section can really linger, so it's good you're looking into options, from what I've heard, gabapentin does seem to help quite a bit with that specific type of deep, shooting nerve pain that regular painkillers don't quite reach, and it also means you need less of the stronger opioid medication afterwards, which is a plus. Some mums found it very effective for dulling that persistent post-op nerve discomfort, though a small number did mention side effects like drowsiness or nausea, so it's a bit of a trade-off depending on how your body responds. The other reassuring thing I've heard is that it's generally considered breastfeeding-friendly, which matters a lot in those early weeks. That said, everyone's situation is a little different, dosage, timing, and whether it suits your recovery really does depend on your individual case, so it's worth having a proper conversation with your O&G or pain specialist to see if it's the right fit for you.
