FTM. Relatively small tummy at week 19 and anxious about next appt

I know different people may have different growth pace but it goes get stressful when people around comment that “you don’t look pregnant” “your tummy look small must eat more” cos my tummy is not as obvious as the other preg mothers. Comments like this make me worry in between my appts.. my last appt was at week 16 and the next will be in another weeks time. Doesn’t help when there’s so many information out there about stillborn etc which can’t be detected until scan Anybody encountered similar and how do you deal with it?

I'm at 19 weeks too and feelin the same. Mum said my belly look like hers at 12 weeks, but my aunt said till she was due, people could hardly tell she was pregnant. And that FTM tend to be smaller. So fret not, it's different for everyone. We're on a good track!

Travel in first trimester

Booked a trip to Europe months ago but recently discovered I am pregnant. I’ll be 10w+ on departure day and flight time is ard 13-14 hrs. Gynae only mentioned 1st tri could be rather unstable but did not strictly stop me from going. So far I feel ok at 6w, just easily tired and sometimes nausea at night. I’m torn whether to proceed or postpone the trip. Any mummies here travelled in 1st tri before and can share their experience?

The flight might be manageable if you exercise good care but not sure if you are travelling free and easy or under packaged tour. There tends to be a fair bit of walking in Europe and on cobblestones/steps. You may want to factor this into consideration.

Hi mummies, happy new year! I just found out I'm 5 weeks pregnant and am feeling very nervous about what's to come. I'm overwhelmed, unsure about which hospital or gynae to choose. Currently referred to KKH, I'll have my first appointment in 2 weeks but plan to switch to the private route after 12 weeks. My husband was a big baby (4kg), and I'm quite petite, so I'm mentally preparing for a possible c-section in the future. My questions are: 1) Is it okay to switch to the private route at KKH after 12 weeks? How many weeks are considered acceptable? I'm also considering the private route at TMC. 2) For those who delivered via c-section at KKH/TMC private, how was your experience? 3) Please recommend your gynaes and share what you loved about them. I just delivered at kkh via csect all was great, great nurses, doc and their care and action is very prompt! Just that i had a painful and long recovery which took like 2 months or so. But dont worry too much about baby’s weight. Can get a pronatural gynae

First trimester - do you eat whenever you are hungry?

I'm in my first tri now, around 5 weeks pregnant. I find myself hungry even after dinner, not sure if I should be having supper? Or healthier to stick to 3 meals per day and stop eating after dinner? Thank you!

Eat whenever you are hungry, while you can. I could eat normally in Week 5 till morning sickness kicked in which caused me to lose weight so dont think you should worry if you eat more than 3 meals as long as you gain weight healthily and steadily, same with baby. But can check with your gynae if it's ok to do so cos he/she will know best.

Dpo8 vv faint line.. sigh please stay! Havin light cramps like period is coming. Have 37.8 degree during middle of the night. Abit nausea feel. Have 1day light spotting on dpo6. Just like period Just pray 🙏

I see a line there! If you want quick and accurate answer, get the clearblue digital! Will straight away tell if youre pregnant or not

Baby movement and sleeping position

Hi mommies, recently I notice my baby will move the moment I am awake if I sleep on my left.. however if I wake up on my right, my baby doesn’t move and only move gradually when I turn to my left like warming up.. usually his kicks are hard and strong .. Anyone feel this way too? Or really my baby getting enough blood so he start moving again when I move turn to my left? I am kinda worried and wonder if it’s normal… #pleasehelp #advicemommies #firstmom

Stomach pain while sleeping on my right.

Currently in third trimester, when I sleep on my left (which I have always trying to do as much as I can) , I get backache… when I turn to my right , I my stomach feel a dull pain .. 😩😩😩 anyone going through the same? Is that why a lot of mummies say third trimester is hard to sleep?#firstmom #advicepls

Twin pregnancy gynae + hospital recco

Hello mummies!! I just discovered I’m carrying twins! and this is my 3rd pregnancy (AKA my 3rd/4th kids!) I’m so shocked and anxious at the same time. I heard twin pregnancies would need Csect and usually deliver pre-term. I’m at TMC now but might need to reconsider my options in view of the high likelihood of the babies admitting to NICU for a few weeks. Any past experience and recco pls? And any possibilities for natural birth, cos my past 2 pregnancies were all natural. Pretty bumped that this is gonna be Csect :(

SGH appointment

Anyone also got an appointment at SGH? I only managed to get a slot on 28 Feb, when I'm almost at the end of first trimester (around 13 weeks). Can't get an earlier slot as well. Is this ok? Abit worried as it is my first pregnancy, EDD should be 30 Aug Thanks in advance!

Maybe you can see other gynae in SGH first while waiting for the appt on 28 Feb? I managed to get a slot in SGH in 1 week time
