Pregency sleeping time

Hihi mummies. Is it normal to feel v sleepy every day 1030pm to 11pm but auto wake up 6plus to 7plus? Been experiencing this for past 2mths plus after i am preggy. My sleeping habit definitely changing drastically #firstbaby #1stimemom

Hi momma, yes that seems normal for some mommies. Though every moms journey into pregnancy are different. It's due to hormonal changes, plus the discomforts of later pregnancy, can break up a pregnant woman's sleep cycle. The first trimester can bring insomnia and night waking. Most women feel the need to take naps to battle daytime sleepiness and fatigue.

Pregnancy termination

Has anyone gone through abortion/pregnancy termination with Dr Jen Shek Wei? Pls share your experience.

I haven't personally seen Dr Jen Shek Wei, but I know a friend who did go through a termination procedure with a private O&G and she said the most important things were feeling like the doctor was non-judgmental and that the clinic gave clear aftercare instructions. If you can't find reviews here, it might be worth calling the clinic directly to ask about the process and what to expect, so you feel more prepared going in. Sending you support, this is not an easy decision and it's okay to ask questions before you commit to a doctor.

Mid trimester termination

Has anyone gone through mid trimester termination? Would appreciate if you could share your experience. Am feeling really traumatised

Oh dear, going through something like this is one of the hardest things any mother can face. Please do reach out to your doctor or the hospital team who supported you through this, because they can connect you with proper counselling and care for what you are going through emotionally and physically. If at any point you feel your physical condition is not right, please go to A&E or call 995 without waiting. You deserve proper support through this, and there are people who can help you heal, so please do not carry this alone

Bleeding during 8 week pregnancy

I having my 5th pregnancy and suddenly start to having bleeding. As now clinic is closed. A bit kind of worry as only can wait till tomorrow then will be able book appointment for the first checkup🤭

Bad cough / itchy throat / random coughing fit. 2nd trimester. What off the shelf med is safe?

Had a fever last week which I took Paracetamol that I bought from hospital.. now that there’s no fever it developed into a cough. Will go into a coughing fit when my throat is triggered eg dry (already spamming loads of water so ok) or suddenly very itchy somehow it’s uncontrollable.. idk if it affects baby cos even my lower pelvic muscle also feel ache w the cough.. once the spree is over I’m back to normal. Just a lot of phlegm Any mommies experienced same before and took OTS meds to rid the cough? Still haven’t got the chance to go GP, thinking of self medicating first

Low glucose level but diagnosed with GD

I'm trying my luck here. Is anyone experiencing / has experienced this during your pregnancy? I am currently on a 24-hour glucose sensor to monitor my sugar level, BUT my sugar level keeps plunging to below the limit of 3.9. I find it so challenging and tiring to push my sugar level up (was told by my gynae to eat something) every single time! 🥹

I am diagnosed with GD too.. I failed by 0.3 at the first hour and the other 2 test was ok.. I need to prick my fingers several times a day twice a week and every time before meal, it’s 3.6-3.8.. and after meal, it drop back of 3.6 again 😅

Second time c-section but still feeling anxious and scared.. is the second time gonna hurts more than the first? Please share your experience! 🙏🏻

Brown discharge

Hi mummies & soon to be mummies! I am at week 5 pregnancy and I'm seeing some brown discharge after I wipe… is it normal or it calls for an emergency? Background, I had a miscarriage last year at week 6… afraid that I'll have another miscarriage. I have an appointment tomorrow with the Gynae, hopefully all goes well 🙏 but would like to hear from some of your experiences with this . TYIA🤍

I had it too! Was prescribed duphaston and was told not to stand up or walk. Rest more! :)
