Hi Mummies ! Would u'll recommend to go to TMC or KKH private as a FTM? Wats the diff actually?

I'd recommend TMC as previously I've encountered multiple light bleeding and have went to the O&G more than 3-4 times, the doctors don't really advice you on much, only did ultrasound and said baby is fine. Not only that, my first KKH appointment took total 4 hours to complete, have to wait in between tests and queue, not worth it. Managed to switched to TMC, and found out that the consultation price does not vary that much, doctor also answer any questions that you might have and advice you on suitable supplements etc

Pain when peeing & pass motion after c-section

Hi, I’m 2 weeks in after my c-section delivery. I feel a sharp pain when I pee and also, feel constipated badly after my c-section. Is this normal? Sometimes my stool feels very hard when I pass motion which cause me to feel the pain when I urine. Anyone can advise or share your experience.

Please help !! I am extremely scared and worried and idk what to do.

I had sex and right after sex , i started bleeding light and coming out small blood clots . I do not feel pain and i had a dr appointment early in the afternoon just now and heartbeat was all good. I am 14 weeks plus. Pls advice ! Also, is this normal ? Do i not see the doctor ? P.s im currently wearing pad just in case. But we are on standby if in the event i need to go to the hospital. #newmom #adviceplease

Did any mummies had pre eclampsia while pregnant, when did you deliver? Is it possible to get HL from week 28 onwards just in case baby is born pre term? #newmom #adviceplease #pregnancy #preeclampsia

Please go see your gynae or O&G specialist as soon as possible, because pre-eclampsia is something that really needs proper monitoring and your doctor is the right person to advise on delivery timing and your HL. Your gynae can also guide you on what to prepare if baby does come early, so do not wait on this one.

Is there any FTM group chat?

Wondering if there’s any group chat for First time mums?

I don't think there's one pinned here officially, but a lot of us just connect through this forum or the theAsianparent app itself where you can find other mums at similar stages. It might be worth posting here to gather interest, because if enough FTMs respond you could always start your own WhatsApp or Telegram group lah, sometimes the self-organised ones end up being the most active anyway.
