Strapless bra recommendation

Hi mommies, any recommendation for strapless bra for bigger bust (C80) with good support? (I feel like usually they keep slipping/dropping so gotta keep tugging) I usually use those stick on nubra but was thinking of an alternative since I’m pregnant and boobs are getting heavier 😅 thank you!

Baby movements at 29/30 weeks

Hello mummies, I’m currently at 29 weeks, going into 30 weeks tomorrow. I’ve read that baby movements should be quite strong by now but so far I could only feel baby’s movements when I put my hands on my belly. Also, his movements are generally gentle and soft (more like rolling and some light tap). Is this smth I ought to be worried about? #1stimemom #pregnancy #advicepls

Pelvic Pressure/Pain

Currently 27 week. Been having pelvic pressure for the past few days. The pelvic pressure hit me whenever I get up from bed or from sitting. Is bedrest required or this is common?

Its normal. Just have to endure till baby is out.

Private or subsidised route

Hi all, FTM here, just tested positive and is around week 4 now. Not sure what to do from here onwards and if private or subsidised route is better(in terms of waiting time etc) have been thinking of subsidised first then change to private too, but am not sure how's the procedure like. Would love to read some experience from fellow moms here! Thanks in advanced! #adviceplease #firstmom #newmom

I went private route cause I have my preferred gynae. Faster waiting time scheduling in between appointments and same gynae thru out, so I find it less hassle for me. If you wanna switch from subsidised to private and have a preferred gynae, have to check your preferred gynae’s availability.

Laptop KK Hospital

Am I allowed to bring a laptop when I am admitted to KK hospital? Where do I keep my laptop before going to the surgery?

yes you are allowed to bring. there will be a cabinet and a small safe to keep your belongings

Getting induced

Hi mumsies! I'm at week 38, and I've been given another week to try to naturally dilate before I get induced. I'm afraid, cos I've heard horrible, painful stories from those who have been induced. If you have been induced before, how was the experience like for you? What part of the induction hurt so bad? For those who weren't induced, what helped with natural dilation? I know sex, squats, walking and curb-walking help, and I'm gonna do them daily for the next 7 days 😂 Edit (update!): I didn't get induced! I had my bloody show at week 38 day 2, after a cervical check, and had contractions the next day. Went to admit myself on Sunday afternoon cos I was having contractions 6-10mins apart. Stayed overnight and was guided by nurses to do lots of walks around the ward and also do deep sumo squats (5x10 secs each)! I feel that helped. I had also been drinking the raspberry leaf tea as well as dates daily. Our bundle of joy came out on 1 April! 😍

Red raspberry leaf tea! No clinical evidence though but read a lot about it and I myself naturally went into labour at 39weeks and 6 days. At 38weeks you can drink red raspberry leaf tea up to 3 times a day. I ate a lot of dates as well. They say dates softens the cervix. Online says to eat 7 a day but I think I ate 3 every meal.

lost my baby to stress...

Remember when I first felt those little kicks? Man, that was the best feeling ever. Every day felt like a party, celebrating this tiny life growing inside me. But, underneath all that excitement, there was this stress monster lurking. Work, life, everything – it was all just too much sometimes. I tried my best to shield my baby from all the stress, but it's like it seeped right through to them. And then, bam, it happened – I miscarried. The pain, both in my heart and my body, is just unbearable. I keep asking myself if I could've done something differently, protected my baby better. Maybe if I'd found a way to chill out more, we wouldn't be in this mess....

Thoughts on going for Chiropractor

Hi, just wondering has anyone gone for any chiropractor session and how early did you start going? I’m thinking on going for one and I read that we can start going even on the first trimester.

yes you can go as early as first trimester but I chose to start when I was in second trimester.
